Why This Role is Exciting

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise growth, operational execution, and regulatory readiness. Split evenly between driving international expansion initiatives and program managing our FedRAMP Moderate authorization process, you will serve as the engine executing two of Optro’s most critical strategic growth bets. You will lead cross-functional alignment across all Optro teams, translating strategic objectives into operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

International Expansion Initiatives (50%)

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive GTM and operational playbooks for international market entry

  • Collaborate with local GTM leadership and regional teams to ensure appropriate resourcing aligned with market maturity

  • Track international performance, monitor localized product gaps, and build robust business cases for strategic reviews and future investment asks to maximize regional sales velocity

  • Instill rigorous operational discipline across cross-functional workstreams to ensure seamless execution, governance, and alignment of strategy with day-to-day operations

FedRAMP Certification & Program Management (50%)

  • Serve as the primary program manager leading Optro’s FedRAMP Moderate authorization process, coordinating workstreams across Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, and external 3PAO assessors

  • Align FedRAMP authorization milestones with Fed/SLED GTM strategy, enabling sales teams to unlock public sector SAM and protect existing ARR

  • Provide regular FedRAMP progress updates to the Executive Leadership Team

Expected Key Outcomes

  • International Market Expansion Playbooks & Operational Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive functional international expansion playbooks with rigorous operational discipline to ensure operational alignment and successful customer adoption across target international markets.

  • FedRAMP Readiness & ATO Execution: Achieve FedRAMP Moderate readiness milestones and manage 3PAO audit delivery within target timelines (15-18 months) while mitigating ARR at risk across defense and public sector accounts.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  • 6-9+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Strategic Initiatives, or Management Consulting (B2B SaaS or technology sector experience preferred)

  • Track record of managing complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives and delivering results

  • Superior synthesis skills: ability to lead with the answer, simplify complex topics, and make decision-making seamless for executives

  • Strong project management capabilities

  • Strong stakeholder management skills - ability to influence and partner with internal teams, including senior leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI workflows, advanced data synthesis) to streamline operations, accelerate decision-making, and continuously push the company's thinking to achieve greater efficiency and strategic value

  • Not required, but preferred: Background in GRC, audit, risk, compliance, ERP, or financial reporting software is a meaningful advantage

  • Gritty resilience: Make it happen. Find a way. Move fast, stay positive, and do what it takes.

  • Drive innovation: Create the future. Continuously improve what exists and invent what’s next.

  • Win, together: One team. No silos, no egos. Drive to be the best and support each other’s success.

  • Growth mindset: 10x, not 10%. Think in orders of magnitude, not increments. Seek feedback, learn, and improve.
