Job Description

The Senior Procurement Associate (SPA) will support both the corporate and care center-focused operations of Privia’s Procurement Team. The work of the SPA will lend to ensuring Privia and its care centers are procuring goods and services in a manner that provides them with best value for money.

• The SPA will facilitate approval and signature for various vendor contracts, focusing on events contracts. And as needed, the SPA will draft agreements and facilitate their approval and signature, including amendments, certain physician leadership agreements, third party access agreements, business associate agreements and pricing agreements.

• The SPA will collaborate with Privia’s Operations Team, care centers, and vendors to support growth of care center cost savings related to discounted pricing for medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals, and other goods and services. The SPA will serve as Privia's point of contact for travel management vendor, meeting with them on a recurring basis to ensure we're aware of and connected to advantageous pricing. Specifically, they'll be responsible for:
  • Monitoring of care centers link to discounted pricing and cost savings analyses
  • Quarterly reporting of participation figures
  • Conducting calls with Operations Team members and care centers to discuss available savings opportunities
  • Responding to procurement-related inquiries from care centers
  • Providing pricing information as needed to support internal teams
  • Recurring calls with vendors to manage the general relationship and discuss status for contract linking and cost savings analyses completion
  • Ensuring Approved Vendors are aware of their badge status and the related Third Party Vendor Marketing Terms and Conditions
  • Conducting research to support our annual ESG Report
  • Ensuring Savings Guide is up to date
  • Communicating new savings opportunities across Privia

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred OR equivalent relevant experience 

• 3+ years of experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.

• Experience with Word and Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is $77,000 to $85,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 10%. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
