Convatec Enterprise – Global | Full Program Accountability

Role Purpose

The Global General Manager of me+ is the enterprise leader accountable for the strategy, operating model, consumer experience, and measurable performance of Convatec’ s me+ program enterprise wide, globally. This is a commercial leadership role, not a brand or marketing management role. Our strategy is earn consumer enrolment and product preference beginning in the acute setting, then deliver ongoing value throughout their journey living with a chronic condition. This leader drives consistent, measurable growth through enrolments, builds the operational backbone that makes the program run at scale, consistently, and ensures me+ delivers value to healthcare providers so it becomes the widely preferred program in the category. This leader sets the global strategy, program architecture, and performance agenda across the full consumer journey, including me+ services, websites, digital experiences, ecommerce, and customer call centres. Working through a dedicated team and in partnership with local country teams, the role establishes the people, processes, technology, data, and governance required to scale me+ consistently while adapting execution to local market needs. This is a Convatec-wide mandate spanning regions, franchises, and functions. The mission is simple and powerful. Make life more rewarding for people living with a chronic condition.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Own the global Convatec me+ investment plan, program economics, and performance, accountable for growth, cost effectiveness and measurable consumer and business impact.
  • Act as general manager for me+ enterprise-wide, setting strategy and driving commercial execution across all franchises and regions.
  • Deliver consistent, measurable growth in enrolments year over year, focused on winning patients in the acute setting and retaining them across their journey.
  • Implement the optimal global program architecture, including the capabilities, processes, technology, data, content, service model and governance required to scale effectively.
  • Establish and govern global me+ standards, KPIs, technology priorities, operating principles and investment decisions while enabling appropriate local market flexibility.
  • Develop the integrated consumer acquisition and lifecycle engagement model required to increase qualified enrolment, activation, ongoing engagement and loyalty.
  • Lead the end-to-end direct-to-consumer experience across me+ services, websites, digital journeys, ecommerce and customer call centres, ensuring a connected, consistent and accessible experience across channels and markets.
  • Negotiate and shape future working relationships and commercial terms with third-party distributors and service providers.
  • Lead a matrixed global team to drive speed, scale, consistency, and standardization, advancing markets at every stage of maturity.
  • Identify, codify, and share best practices, and build the tools, playbooks, and systems that help countries run the program well.
  • Continuously improve the end-to-end patient experience and operational effectiveness so me+ is better at getting and keeping patients.
  • Ensure me+ delivers tangible value to healthcare providers, making it a program clinicians trust, recommend, and prefer.
  • Bring curiosity and a bias to action for how AI and digital improve enrolment, engagement, retention, and efficiency.
  • Champion responsible use of data, automation and AI to improve personalization, next-best action, service quality, enrolment, engagement and operating efficiency while protecting consumer trust and privacy.

  • Cost per enrolment, cost to serve and program efficiency.
  • Demonstrated impact of enrolled consumers through cohort analysis, including product adoption, continuity, reorder behaviour or lifetime engagement where data permits.

Required Experience

  • Proven commercial leader with a track record of delivering measurable growth, not a brand or product marketing background alone.
  • Strong operational depth, including experience building infrastructure, order-to-cash processes, and integrating third-party service partners at scale.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating commercial agreements with distributors and third-party providers.
  • Experience leading patient support or consumer-facing programs, ideally in medtech, medical device, pharma, or healthcare services.
  • Experience building consumer acquisition and lifecycle engagement models that deliver measurable improvements in enrolment, activation, retention, and loyalty.
  • Experience leading global or enterprise-wide programs, standardizing and scaling while respecting local market needs, and leading through influence in a matrix.
  • Working knowledge of digital and AI tools. Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in business or related field preferred.
