ABOUT GMR MARKETING

We are the Experience Agency Making Unforgettable Stories Born of Humanity

NOT JUST EXPERIENTIAL. EXPERIENCE.

The lines have blurred. People live in the physical, digital, and social worlds all at once, and your brand experiences should do the same.

NOT JUST TELLING. MAKING.

The best stories are lived, not heard. Make an immersive world for people to explore so they can experience something they’ll never forget.

NOT JUST CONSUMERS. HUMANS.

It all starts with the human. If you want to make a lasting impact, look beyond the wallet to understand what motivates and inspires people.

You are the dimensional visionary. Space bends to your thinking. You understand materials at a molecular level—not just how they look, but how they age, interact, and perform. You can move seamlessly from conceptual sketches to production-ready documentation. You've led complex projects, managed fabrication relationships, and built installations that work IRL. You set the standard for how 3D strategy works at GMR.

Why GMR? Because we're not here to do what's already been done. We're inventors. Curators of the future. At this level, your 3D vision shapes entire campaign strategies. You're a creative partner—not just a renderer. You'll collaborate with Design Directors, Creative Directors, and production specialists as an equal, pushing what's possible in spatial design.

A portfolio or work samples are required to be considered for the role.

 REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Lead the spatial vision. You’ll lead 3D design for major projects, transforming briefs into compelling spatial narratives that move from concept to built reality. You’ll develop spatial systems, architectural concepts, and material palettes that can flex across environments, campaigns, and multiple brand touchpoints.
  • Make the vision feel real. You’ll create photorealistic renderings that capture the full experience, including lighting, materials, human scale, atmosphere, and brand narrative. Your work doesn’t simply visualize an idea; it makes people believe in it.
  • Shape the creative direction. You’ll partner with Creative Directors and Design Directors to translate ideas into space, challenge assumptions, and push concepts into new territory. You understand that spatial design is more than aesthetics. It shapes how people move, interact, experience, and remember a brand.
  • Take ideas all the way to reality. You’ll move ambitious concepts into production through technical development, production documentation, fabrication, and installation. You understand what happens when a design leaves the screen and enters the physical world, and you know how to design for that moment. A deep understanding of materials, fabrication methods, environmental design, and real-world performance is essential.
  • Build cohesive experiences. You’ll collaborate with 2D and Motion Designers to connect spatial design to the larger visual system, creating brand experiences that feel considered and cohesive from every angle.
  • Present with confidence. You’ll lead complex client presentations, communicate spatial concepts clearly, and make a compelling case for your creative decisions. You know how to bring people into the vision and take them along for the ride.
  • Master your tools and keep exploring. You bring expert level proficiency in Cinema 4D, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and/or Rhino, along with experience using rendering plugins and AI enabled workflows. You also have strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat. You’re curious about emerging technology and know how to use new tools to make the work smarter, faster, and more ambitious.
  • Own complex projects. You have extensive professional 3D design experience in an agency, experiential, architectural, or related environment. You’ve managed projects from concept through fabrication and understand how to balance creative ambition with timelines, technical realities, and other real-world constraints.
  • Bring a point of view. You have strong spatial instincts, strategic thinking, and a portfolio that demonstrates conceptual depth, diverse project experience, and exceptional craft. Most importantly, your portfolio shows work that has actually been built.

Why This Role Will Define Your Career: You're moving from practitioner to strategist. Your spatial vision will anchor campaigns. You'll partner with top Creative Directors on culture-shifting work. You'll build a body of work—both digital and built—that defines what experiential design can be.

The annual range for this role varies between $68,000- $80,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time. You are also eligible to participate in disability, life insurance, FSA/HSA plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
