What You'll Do

Executive Partnership & Follow-Through

  • Serve as the primary conduit to the VP for gathering information across the fleet, coordinating input from Multi-Store Leaders and field leadership, and driving execution against agreed priorities.
  • Attend the VP's recurring calls and working sessions, capturing clear notes and action items in real time.
  • Own follow-up on commitments made in those calls, tracking open items to closure and flagging anything at risk of slipping.
  • Ensure consistent execution across markets by translating decisions made in leadership conversations into clear direction and follow-through for the teams responsible.

Strategy Translation

  • Partner directly with the VP, Client Services to translate program strategy, working sessions, and leadership priorities (e.g., the METALAB operating framework) into structured plans, workstreams, and decision documents.
  • Own preparation of executive-ready materials, briefings, and presentations that bridge Channel Partners and Meta Retail Leadership, often representing the program directly in senior working sessions.
  • Independently track strategic priorities across the fleet and surface risks, dependencies, or resourcing gaps before they affect timelines, recommending course corrections to the VP.

Program & Deployment Management

  • Own the end-to-end program management cadence for store openings and fleet initiatives, including NSO (New Store Opening) timelines, milestones, and readiness checkpoints, across a fleet scaling from 9 to approximately 17 locations.
  • Drive deployment execution across markets, owning the handoff from plan to live operations and ensuring nothing stalls between decision and rollout.
  • Architect and coordinate deployment of tools, reporting structures, and operating standards across new and existing markets.
  • Build and maintain project trackers, RACI structures, and status reporting that keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned and leadership informed in real time.
  • Run recurring cadence meetings and working sessions, ensuring clear agendas, decisions, and follow-through at the leadership level.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between Multi-Store Leaders, recruiting, field operations, and Meta Retail Leadership on program execution, acting as a peer partner rather than an added layer of oversight.
  • Partner with recruiting leadership on hiring timelines tied to new store openings.
  • Support organizational initiatives such as competency frameworks, onboarding plans, and talent processes as they roll out across the fleet.
  • Proactively take recurring coordination, tracking, and reporting tasks off the plates of Multi-Store Leaders and field leadership so they can stay focused on their stores and teams.

Communications

  • Own the communication cadence between Channel Partners and Meta Retail Leadership, ensuring the right information reaches the right stakeholders at the right time.
  • Draft and manage internal announcements, program updates, and briefing materials that keep field teams and leadership aligned as the fleet scales, exercising independent judgment on framing and timing.
  • Act as a clear, consistent voice on program status, translating complex or in-progress work into simple updates for both operational and executive audiences.

Test, Iterate & Continuous Improvement

  • Capture insights from store openings, pilots, and program rollouts across markets, and pressure-test what is and is not working.
  • Synthesize field learnings into recommended refinements to the METALAB operating framework, playbooks, and deployment approach, with direct input into how the program evolves.
  • Champion a test-and-iterate mindset across the program, ensuring lessons from one market inform faster, better rollouts in the next.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Own fleet-wide dashboards and reporting on program milestones, store readiness, and performance metrics.
  • Synthesize data into clear, decision-ready recommendations for the VP and Meta stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education:

  • 7-10+ years in program management, business operations, or a Sr. Business Manager, Client Services / Chief of Staff-type role, ideally supporting multi-site retail, retail technology, or store operations expansion at scale.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Track record of owning complex, ambiguous programs end-to-end, from strategic framing through field deployment, with minimal oversight.
  • Strong project management discipline; formal certification (PMP or equivalent) a plus.
  • Experience building or operating within a structured operating framework or playbook across multiple locations, ideally in a high-growth or high-visibility client environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic partner to senior leadership, including direct exposure to client executives, while working seamlessly across two organizations (agency/channel partner and client).
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable owning updates and announcements that reach both field teams and senior leadership.
  • Naturally test-and-iterate-minded, treating each store opening or rollout as a chance to refine the playbook rather than repeat it as-is.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to store locations as the fleet expands into new markets.
