My Amazon Guy is looking for a Social Media Team Lead who is fully experienced in a high-content production environment with heavy amounts of new graphics, videos, and written content utilizing AI and a team that reports to you. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the social media strategies and campaigns across company-owned social media accounts. Core duties include developing and executing social media plans, working with social media and design teams to create impactful content, analyzing data and providing insights to improve performance, managing campaigns and initiatives, and fostering relationships with customers.

This position requires an individual with a deep understanding of social media platforms, AI-driven strategies, and the ability to execute innovative campaigns that capture attention and drive engagement. The ideal candidate is not only tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and highly organized, but also deeply passionate about social media and digital storytelling. They must have their finger on the pulse of the latest trends and technologies, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where adaptability and initiative are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute monthly social media strategies and campaigns
  • Work with the marketing and design teams to create impactful content
  • Analyze data from campaigns to provide insights and improve performance
  • Identify and track KPIs to measure the success of campaigns
  • Monitor social media platforms, trends, and conversations
  • Foster relationships with customers through engaging interactions
  • Optimize campaigns and handle budgeting and reporting processes
  • Manage campaigns and initiatives end-to-end
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as creating reports and tracking analytics
  • Manage, coach, motivate, and inspire the social media team.
  • Manage 8-10 direct reports and drive a team of high content production environments using AI.
  • Must keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends and be quick to leverage cutting-edge tactics for growth
  • Must stay attuned to industry trends and emerging growth tactics to drive innovation and remain competitive.


Requirements

  • 4–6 years of proven experience in marketing, social media, or a similar position, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong background in developing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams, with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire creatives and strategists
  • Tech-savvy, with hands-on experience using the latest digital marketing and content creation tools
  • Skilled in utilizing AI tools to produce high-quality, innovative, and scalable content
  • Deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
  • Well-connected within the digital and social media space, with a strong awareness of industry shifts and opportunities
  • Highly ambitious, proactive, and results-driven, with a passion for continuous learning and growth
  • Background in data analytics, with the ability to interpret metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Creative vision and storytelling skills, with a strong eye for what resonates with audiences
  • Proficient in content creation, design, and management software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A dual-monitor setup is required (at least 8GB of RAM)
  • Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
