SEO Specialist

GoMining is looking for an experienced SEO specialist ready to take their skills to the next level. This is a chance to work on genuinely challenging, large-scale projects alongside marketing professionals who are eager to learn from each other and grow. We expect you to work autonomously while staying aligned with the broader team and business agenda.

You'll report to the Head of Organic Acquisition, and you’ll coordinate closely with those functions to keep GoMining's brands represented consistently everywhere they're found — in search, in AI assistants, on social, and in app stores.

What you'll do

• Design and execute large-scale SEO projects across an ecosystem of several websites, products, and brands — thousands of pages in total.
• Build programmatic SEO: improve existing templates and propose new ways to scale pages, while safeguarding against the risks (thin, duplicate, or scaled content).
• Build and maintain structured data and entity SEO — schema markup for FAQs, products, organization, and other relevant types — to strengthen how GoMining’s brands are represented in web search and AI.
• Develop and improve automated SEO audits and drive identified issues through to resolution with the dev team.
• Write and edit web copy that weaves in keywords, entities, and on-page optimization.
• Manage GEO/AEO (AI search) initiatives: track and grow GoMining's citation and visibility across AI Overviews and assistants (Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) using dedicated AI-visibility tools, and structure content so AI systems can easily extract and cite it (llms.txt, clear headings, FAQ schema, concise summaries).
• Grow the backlink profile and brand visibility through external referral sources and digital PR.
• Own ORM/SERM: monitor brand SERPs and tackle negative or misleading mentions, and track product reviews on review aggregators and in mobile app stores such as the App Store and Google Play. Build platform-specific strategies for how to solicit, respond to, and manage reviews on each selected platform/resource.
• Translate SEO needs into PRDs and clear tasks for developers, and manage that backlog through to delivery.
• Report on performance against agreed KPIs.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of hands-on SEO experience.
• English B2-C1: comfortable working with English-language content, attending English-speaking calls, and communicating with English-speaking colleagues and partners.
• Solid understanding of Programmatic SEO, with the ability to formulate technical tasks.
• Working knowledge of SEO analytics: GA4 and Google Search Console as a baseline, plus Ahrefs and/or Semrush. Comfort with Data Studio for reporting. SQL or BigQuery is a strong plus.
• HTML/JS/CSS basics, and an understanding of how both traditional web search crawlers and newer AI crawlers/agents interact with a website and its content.
• Understanding of methods and purposes of SEO-related data processing: keyword research and mapping, intent classification, topic clustering, SERP analysis.
• Practical knowledge of structured data/schema markup implementation.
• Working familiarity with E-E-A-T and YMYL principles and what they mean in practice for a crypto/fintech content strategy.
• Copywriting skills with an SEO-oriented vision: the ability to write and edit content that balances keyword and entity optimization, readability, and trustworthiness.
• Working understanding of GEO/AEO and at least conceptual familiarity with AI-visibility tracking.
• Knowledge of tools such as Screaming Frog, Data Studio, Ahrefs, and Semrush, and how they work together.
• Decent project management skills: readiness for task tracking and reporting.
• Understanding of, or experience with, multi-language/multi-market SEO — hreflang implementation, localized content strategy, etc.

Would be a plus

• Deep experience in international SEO across multiple markets and languages.
• Experience writing and editing longform content.
• Coding or vibecoding skills (Python/JS), or readiness to pick them up, for building custom SEO tooling and automations at scale.
• Experience in YouTube/video SEO, or a solid understanding of it.
• Hands-on experience with AI-visibility/GEO tracking platforms, or building custom AI-citation tracking.
• Prior SEO experience in crypto, fintech, or another YMYL vertical.

• Technical health of the page inventory (Core Web Vitals, indexation rate, crawl efficiency).
