About the Role
Eleven Media is looking for an experienced Senior Video Producer to lead our US Entertainment video coverage across long-form and short-form platforms. This is not a clip-compilation or viral video production role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the video strategy and execution for US entertainment coverage, including celebrities, Hollywood, pop culture, red carpet events, award shows, premieres, press junkets, and major industry news.
  • Develop daily and long-term video coverage plans around breaking entertainment news, major events, film and television releases, and industry developments.
  • Oversee the production of long-form and short-form videos, ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging coverage.
  • Develop original video concepts, recurring shows, interview series, podcasts, and scalable content formats.
  • Identify compelling story angles and determine the best editorial approach for breaking news, interviews, explainers, commentary, analysis, features, and developing stories.
  • Guide, train, mentor, and develop producers, writers, editors, researchers, and other video team members.
  • Work closely with anchors, hosts, correspondents, and producers in the US and UK to plan and execute high-quality programming.
  • Identify, research, and book celebrities, actors, filmmakers, creators, publicists, industry experts, and other relevant guests for interviews, podcasts, discussions, and special programming.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, press junkets, red carpet coverage, live reporting, production schedules, research, and briefing materials.
  • Lead coverage planning for premieres, festivals, conventions, award shows, and other major entertainment events.
  • Collaborate with editorial, social media, audience development, design, and production teams to maximize reach and impact.
  • Review scripts, edits, graphics, and final videos to ensure high editorial and production standards.
  • Monitor audience performance, review analytics, and use insights to improve programming and content strategy.
  • Help recruit, interview, onboard, and develop video production talent.
  • Maintain clear communication across teams and ensure video coverage aligns with editorial priorities.
  • Take ownership of the overall quality, consistency, and performance of the entertainment video team.
  • Remain flexible during breaking entertainment news, live events, premieres, award shows, and other high-impact industry moments.

What You Will Need
  • Significant professional experience producing entertainment or celebrity video content for a digital, broadcast, or television newsroom.
  • Previous experience managing, mentoring, or leading video production teams.
  • Strong understanding of the US entertainment industry, including Hollywood, celebrities, film, television, streaming, and pop culture.
  • Experience producing both long-form and short-form editorial video content.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to identify stories and video formats that resonate with entertainment audiences.
  • Experience producing breaking news, interviews, explainers, commentary, features, podcasts, and event coverage.
  • Experience identifying, pitching, and booking celebrities, publicists, industry experts, creators, and other high-profile guests.
  • Experience coordinating interviews, press junkets, red carpets, live reporting, or special event coverage.
  • Strong script development, editorial planning, and production management skills.
  • Experience working with on-air talent, hosts, correspondents, interviewers, or presenters.
  • Strong understanding of audience analytics and how to use data to improve video performance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to editorial accuracy and production quality.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple productions under tight deadlines.
