Our diverse team consists of 50+ professionals – engineers, artists, event managers, pilots, etc.. Now we are looking for a Senior Technical Artist who will be a part of our team of artists to help them design and develop state-of-the-art animations for our clients. Tasks:

• Developing 3D models for drone shows
• Developing animations and transitions for drone shows
• Running physics checks and making corrections
• Developing take-off and landing sequences
• Implementing feedback according to the technical or client requirements
• Creating static preview and animation preview renders
• Assembling ready shows and preparing them for flight
• Creation of simulation- and animation-ready procedural assets with properly prepared configuration and adjustment options.
• Maintenance and development of in-house assets & tools library
• Maintenance and development of internal technical guidelines & workflow guides
• Implement R&D of technical solutions to assist creative vision
• Development of new techniques and processes to solve unique production challenges
• Keeping up on current technology trends and tools (hardware and software) that best suit the production
• Ensure that all work carried out on the project fits within the pipeline, where possible
• Responsible for setting up the project configurations

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts/Design or 7+ Years industry experience
• 3+ Years industry experience in drone shows, motion design, game-dev (TechArt/Real-Time VFX) or VFX
• Working knowledge of physically based simulation techniques
• Deep understanding of the CG animation pipelines
• Experience in VEX and Python development for VFX
• Working knowledge of real-time and interactive media pipelines and frameworks (TouchDesigner/VVVV)
• Deep understanding of procedural assets creation (Houdini)
• Understanding of Gitlab integration or similar
• High attitude to details
• Experience working with off-site team members
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Team player approach with the ability to take direction/feedback

Required Software Proficiency:

• Houdini
• Blender
• Compositing (AE/Nuke/Fusion)
• Photoshop & Illustrator essentials

Bonus Software Proficiency:

• TouchDesigner/VVVV - highly desirable
• Redshift/Octane Render
• Unreal Engine
