The Senior Talent Intelligence Analyst leads complex, high-visibility research engagements to provide actionable market and organizational intelligence to Zillow's leadership. They act as a strategic partner, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data into executive-ready narratives to inform talent and business strategy.

About the team

Zillow’s Talent Intelligence team provides objective external market research and intelligence to inform talent, workforce, and organizational decisions. We serve as internal consultants to executives and leaders, bringing a vital “outside-in” perspective to complex business questions. Our engagements may include talent and skills market analysis, competitive and organizational intelligence, leadership research, location strategy, and emerging workforce trends. By translating external data into clear implications and recommendations, we help Zillow’s leadership make more informed decisions in a distributed, CloudHQ environment.

About the role

As a Senior Talent Intelligence Analyst, you are a strategic research partner to Zillow’s leadership, owning the team’s most complex and highest-visibility engagements. You sit at the intersection of external market intelligence and business strategy, helping leaders frame ambiguous questions, understand relevant market dynamics, and evaluate potential paths forward. You will design and lead a range of research engagements across evolving talent, workforce, and organizational priorities, bringing sound judgment, analytical rigor, and clear recommendations with minimal oversight

You will get to:

  • Lead complex, ambiguous Talent Intelligence engagements from initial scoping through executive delivery, determining the appropriate research approach, data sources, analysis, and outputs for each business question.

  • Build external market intelligence across a range of evolving topics, which may include talent and skills markets, competitive and organizational insights, leadership profiles, location strategy, and broader workforce trends.

  • Use advanced intelligence tools and diverse external sources to identify market patterns, benchmarks, risks, and opportunities relevant to Zillow’s talent and organizational priorities.

  • Conduct competitive and organizational research to help leaders understand how other companies build, structure, scale, and evolve their teams and capabilities.

  • Translate complex quantitative and qualitative research into clear implications, options, and recommendations that support informed decision-making.

  • Synthesize findings into executive-ready narratives, briefings, and visualizations, presenting directly to VPs and senior stakeholders.

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to executives, business leaders, and Talent Acquisition, advising on how external intelligence can inform both near- and long-term priorities.

  • Help evolve the Talent Intelligence function by identifying new use cases, methodologies, data sources, tools, and offerings while mentoring and raising the bar for the broader team.
