Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Position Summary:

Primary responsibility for leading sourcing initiatives and provide analytical insights to optimize supplier performance, reduce costs, and support strategic business objectives.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Execute and lead sourcing events across a wide range of categories, managing the full RFx process from scoping to final award decisions.
• Deliver analytical support on sourcing initiatives by synthesizing complex data sets, developing cost models, and providing actionable insights that guide strategic decisions.
• Drive category management activities including expiring contract reviews, pipeline development, opportunity assessments, supplier performance management, and compliance tracking.
• Provide project leadership and communication by overseeing timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining project trackers, and preparing documentation such as meeting minutes and status reports.
• Compile and refine scopes of work and requirements, conduct in-depth evaluations of supplier proposals, and negotiate final commercial terms to optimize value and mitigate risk.
• Develop, present, and defend analysis—both quantitative and qualitative—to sourcing and business leadership to secure approvals for supplier selection and contract awards.
• Champion Strategic Sourcing’s value proposition by effectively communicating outcomes, influencing stakeholders, and reinforcing procurement’s role as a strategic business partner.
• Perform additional assignments as required, adapting quickly to evolving business priorities and opportunities.

Required Education & Experience: 
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, finance, or business administration; or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
• Knowledge of supply chain and procurement industry trends, supply chain processes, best practices, tools & technology, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting. 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate across functions, internal and external partners.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and make sound business decisions.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs while maintaining professionalism and focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business applications.
