Senior Solutions Engineer, Digital Native/Mid-Market

About the Role

Join a solutions engineering team at a Series C/D application security SaaS company, supporting mid-market sales cycles. You will bring engineering depth to customer conversations, helping organizations integrate security into their development workflows and build effective application security programs.

What You'll Do

• Become an expert in the platform and help customers integrate it into CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and application security programs.

• Lead technical discovery, diagnose customer challenges, and advise on solution design.

• Own proof-of-value engagements from defining success criteria through configuration and technical validation.

• Write or adapt security rules to identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate technical capabilities.

• Explain technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executive stakeholders.

• Improve demos, automation, and educational resources to reduce friction for customers.

• Partner with account executives on complex sales and contribute to team processes and enablement.

• Travel up to 20% for customer meetings, events, conferences, and company gatherings.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of pre-sales engineering experience in enterprise SaaS, with experience in security and complex technical products.

• Previous engineering experience and strong computer science fundamentals.

• Experience discussing technical solutions with security engineers, DevOps teams, and technical leaders.

• Knowledge of developer workflows and build systems, including CI/CD environments such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins, or Buildkite.

• Ability to understand code, vulnerabilities, and customer needs across different technology stacks.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $147,000 to $175,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
