Senior Software Engineer

Requirements: 

• Programming & Web Technologies 

• Proficiency in Core Java with 7+ years of experience 

• Experience with SQL, JavaScript (ES5 and modern), HTML/CSS 

• Experience with J2EE/JSP/JSTL, Servlets, JDBC, Tomcat, jQuery, Bootstrap 

• Backend Frameworks & APIs 

• 5+ years of experience with RESTful services, API architecture, and system integrations 

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, REST/OpenAPI 

• Experience with SSO, OAuth2/OIDC 

• Databases 

• 6+ years of experience in MS SQL and/or NoSQL databases 

• Hands-on experience with schema design, indexing, query tuning, and migrations (MSSQL and MySQL) 

• Cloud & DevOps 

• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud services 

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) 

• 3+ years of experience in CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Infrastructure as Code) 

• Experience with Maven and Git 

• Data Engineering 

• Data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark) 

• Messaging systems and stream processing (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub) 

• Domain Experience 

• 4+ years of proven track record in CRM, SaaS, Customer Engagement, or Martech environments 

• Testing & Support 

• Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, and disciplined manual verification where automated tests don't exist 

• Strong production troubleshooting skills - reading logs, root-cause analysis, hotfix discipline, ticket/SLA hygiene, and clear client-facing written updates 

• Experience with reporting and platform integrations 

• Architecture, Security & Leadership 

• Strong understanding of scalable system architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native engineering principles 

• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, application performance optimization, observability, and system reliability engineering 

• Good discipline in code review, Git branching/tagging, and documenting as you go 

• Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering best practices across teams 

• Good to have 

• TypeScript, React 

• Struts or similar MVC framework 

• Spring WebFlux/Reactor, JSON:API, Spring AI 

• NoSQL, vector databases 

• Helm, multi-cloud exposure (AWS, GCP, Alibaba, DigitalOcean)

• Conversational AI platforms and AI workflow automation 

• Incident write-up experience 

• Security-debt remediation (CVE upgrades), pentest and security audit follow-through 

• Data warehousing technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
