We are currently searching for a Sr Application Performance and Observability Engineer:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Lead the technical investigation and implement end-to-end application traceability across complex systems.
• Diagnose and resolve network, proxy, load balancer, and TLS troubleshooting issues.
• Perform API latency, timeout, retry, and dependency failure analysis.
• Execute browser-to-backend transaction tracing, Real User Monitoring, and frontend error analysis.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• Deep Java application performance engineering experience.
• Strong WebSphere and WebLogic diagnostic skills.
• JVM profiling, garbage collection analysis, heap dumps, and thread dumps.
• Application-level structured logging and correlation ID implementation.
• Distributed tracing across applications, APIs, and downstream dependencies.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog, New Relic, or similar APM tools.
• Oracle performance diagnostics, including SQL execution plans, AWR, and ASH.
• JDBC connection pools, application thread pools, and session management.
• Experience tracing transactions across legacy or partially instrumented platforms.
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

Desired

• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.

Languages
