The consultant will design and implement a comprehensive SAP SuccessFactors security and authorization framework from scratch. This includes establishing SoD controls, defining IAM/IDM processes, and ensuring audit-compliant documentation for a large-scale public-sector project.

For a Scandinavian SAP consulting company, we are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Security Consultant to support a large-scale authorization and security transformation initiative for a public-sector client (University environment).
This role is focused on defining and designing security and authorization frameworks from scratch, rather than maintaining existing setups.
Project Scope:
The selected consultant will play a key role in shaping the SAP SuccessFactors security landscape, including:
Definition of Role-Based Permissions (RBP) architecture
Design of role and group models
Establishment of SoD (Segregation of Duties) framework and rulebook
Definition of IAM/IDM processes and integrations
Creation of security governance, approval flows, and access management processes
Preparation of audit-compliant documentation and controls
The consultant will also support proposal preparation and help define the target operating model for security and access management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement SAP SuccessFactors RBP and authorization concepts
Define security architecture across SuccessFactors modules (scope to be confirmed)
Establish SoD controls, critical access definitions, and compliance processes
Define and document user lifecycle management processes
Collaborate on IAM/IDM integrations (e.g., Entra ID, SailPoint or similar)
Support audit readiness and documentation
Define access request, approval, and change management processes
Contribute to security governance and reporting frameworks
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors security and RBP design
Proven experience in designing authorization models from scratch
Experience with SoD, audit, and compliance frameworks
Solid understanding of IAM/IDM concepts and integrations
Experience working in enterprise or public-sector environments
Ability to work independently in a greenfield / undefined environment
