As a Senior People Operations Partner, you’ll be a trusted expert across the employee lifecycle - owning core People Ops programs and continuously improving how we deliver People services at scale. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on operational excellence, cares deeply about employee experience, and enjoys making complex processes simple and human. You’ll be part of a culture that values experimentation, continuous learning, and finding smarter ways to solve problems.
This is a remote-first role open to candidates located in Canada.
Our People team is small but mighty - made up of a Recruiter, an Employee Experience Director, and a Director of People, reporting to our CPO. We own the full employee lifecycle at Vidyard, from talent acquisition and onboarding through to compensation, HR operations, compliance, and offboarding. We're a hands-on team that moves quickly, wears a lot of hats, and takes pride in building programs and processes that scale with the business. This role sits at the center of that work - keeping our people's operations running smoothly while helping us build the foundation for what's next.

Ensure all programs and practices align with Canadian/US employment legislation, balancing compliance with a supportive, people-first approach.
Lead or support the delivery of People programs such as performance cycles, compensation reviews, promotions, and engagement initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure smooth People Operations delivery
Maintain and evolve People policies and procedures, ensuring they are clear, compliant, and employee-friendly
Support audits, compliance requirements, and documentation across jurisdictions

Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and scale People Ops processes
Prepare reports and insights to support decision-making across the People team and organization
5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar role
Experience working with HRIS platforms and People systems

Experience driving adoption of new technologies, including AI tools, across teams, helping leaders and employees embrace change with confidence and ethical awareness.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with performance management, compensation cycles, or engagement programs
