We're hiring a Senior Outbound SDR — and the job description looks nothing like it did three years ago.


About the role

AI didn't kill the SDR role. It killed the average one. The ones who survive — and win — are the ones who figured out how to use AI as a force multiplier rather than a shortcut.

We're Timefold — a Series A scheduling optimisation company used by engineering teams at Apple, Microsoft, Boeing, AT&T, and others. Most of them found us through open source. None of them have ever been called. That's the opportunity.

What the role looks like in 2026

Orchestra

You're not sending 200 generic emails a day. You're orchestrating.

  • Use AI to read intent signals before anyone else does — job postings, G2 activity, funding rounds, GitHub behaviour

  • Score and prioritise accounts automatically with tools like Clay, Amplemarket, and predictive scoring platforms — and know when to override the model

  • Draft outreach with Claude and Lavender that's actually relevant, then add the human layer that makes it land

  • Build AI-assisted sequences that trigger on buying signals, not calendars

  • Prompt-engineer your way to personalization at scale — without sounding like a robot wrote it


Think, build, evaluate and go for it

There is no sequence library. No established outbound motion. No playbook to inherit.

  • You design the outbound infrastructure from zero — tooling, sequencing logic, signal workflows, and the feedback loops that make it smarter over time

  • You define what great SDR work looks like at Timefold — and the person who does it well has a direct line to an AE role

Convert

Thousands of developers at enterprise organisations already use Timefold. None of them have ever talked to sales.

  • Turn open-source presence into commercial conversations — this is one of the most valuable motions in our GTM and you own it

  • Prospect into both the technical evaluator (developers, architects, engineering leads) and the executive sponsor (CIO, VP Engineering) — and know which message lands with which person

You're probably a fit if

  • A blank page + the right AI stack sounds like an opportunity, not a problem

  • You have 3+ years SDR/BDR in B2B tech. AI tooling experience non-negotiable.
