Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Remote | AU Timezone | Part-Time

Role Overview:

We are looking for a senior NetSuite consultant to join our consulting team on a full-time contract basis. The role is focused on delivering high-quality NetSuite implementations and consulting engagements, with particular emphasis on Manufacturing and Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions.

We are looking for someone who can work confidently with customers, understand how their business operates and translate those requirements into practical NetSuite solutions. The successful candidate will be comfortable leading discovery, solution design, configuration, testing and deployment activities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead or contribute to NetSuite discovery workshops and requirements gathering.

  • Analyse manufacturing and warehouse processes and identify opportunities to simplify and improve them.

  • Design practical NetSuite solutions that balance customer requirements, standard functionality and maintainability.

  • Configure NetSuite and support technical teams where integrations or customisations are required.

  • Prepare functional specifications, solution designs, process documentation and test scenarios.

  • Lead solution walkthroughs and explain proposed solutions clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.

  • Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, developers and other consultants.

  • Identify project risks, dependencies and scope considerations early and communicate them clearly.

  • Provide mentoring and practical guidance to less experienced consultants where appropriate.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong hands-on experience delivering NetSuite implementations, enhancements or transformation projects.

  • Practical NetSuite manufacturing experience, including a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, requirements gathering and solution design.

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite WMS and warehouse processes.

  • Ability to turn business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions, including configuration, process design, functional specifications and recommendations on standard functionality versus customisation.

  • Confident working directly with customers across discovery, workshops, solution walkthroughs, issue resolution and decision-making.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Experience across the NetSuite implementation lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, training, cutover and post-go-live support.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and recommend sensible solutions without over-engineering.

  • Able to produce clear functional documentation, solution designs, process flows, test scenarios and other project deliverables.

  • 5+ years of relevant NetSuite consulting experience, or equivalent senior-level experience.

  • Recent hands-on NetSuite implementation experience rather than purely project management or account management experience.

  • Demonstrable manufacturing experience in NetSuite.

  • Demonstrable NetSuite WMS experience.

  • Strong customer-facing and workshop facilitation experience.

  • Experience taking ownership of functional solution design and configuration.

  • Australian-based and able to work full-time on a contract basis.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Experience with NetSuite Field Service Management (FSM).

  • Experience with Manufacturing / Work Orders, BOMs, routings, planning, production processes and inventory.

  • Understanding of field service workflows, including work orders, scheduling and technician activities.

  • Experience with the FSM mobile experience and field-based processes.

  • Understanding of service assets, parts / consumables, time, expenses and service billing.

  • Ability to connect field service processes with broader NetSuite ERP, inventory and financial processes.

  • NetSuite FSM experience as a strong differentiator.
