Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000 / year
Description

Paved is the leading sponsorship marketplace connecting advertisers with newsletter publishers. We help brands reach highly engaged audiences through trusted newsletters while giving publishers the tools they need to grow and monetize their businesses.
We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead Paved's marketing function. This is a broad, hands-on role for a marketing generalist who enjoys solving business problems through marketing. You'll own everything from demand generation and content strategy to lifecycle marketing, analytics, and go-to-market campaigns, driving growth across both sides of our marketplace.
Working closely with our CEO, Product, Sales, and Engineering teams, you'll shape marketing strategy while rolling up your sleeves to execute it. You'll partner with Redbrick's Shared Services marketing team to bring campaigns and creative to life, but you'll be the person setting priorities, identifying opportunities, and ensuring marketing delivers measurable business results.
If you thrive in a startup environment, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and want to build a marketing function that scales with the business, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll be doing
- Own Paved's marketing strategy, identifying the highest-impact opportunities to grow both advertisers and publishers.
- Drive qualified pipeline through demand generation, paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, partnerships, organic growth, and ongoing experimentation.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives, balancing long-term strategy with hands-on execution.
- Own paid acquisition strategy, campaign performance, budgets, and conversion optimization.
- Set Paved's content strategy and messaging, ensuring campaigns and marketing assets support customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Develop lifecycle marketing programs that improve onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation using tools like Customer.io.
- Own marketing analytics, attribution, and reporting, using data to evaluate performance and inform investment decisions.
- Improve Paved's visibility across search, AI-powered discovery, and other emerging customer acquisition channels.
- Partner closely with Sales to improve lead quality, pipeline performance, and sales enablement.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns while partnering with Redbrick's Shared Services marketing team to execute content, creative, design, and other marketing assets.
- Support the planning and execution of industry events and other marketing initiatives that strengthen Paved's brand and generate pipeline.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to improve the customer experience and accelerate growth.
What we'd like to see in you
- 5+ years of experience in marketing within B2B SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, or another high-growth technology company, with strong experience in demand generation or growth marketing.
- Experience in or a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem. Familiarity with newsletter advertising or adjacent AdTech markets is a significant asset.
- A track record of delivering measurable business results, including customer acquisition, pipeline growth, revenue growth, or conversion improvements.
- Experience balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Hands-on experience managing paid acquisition, attribution, analytics, and campaign optimization.
- Experience with lifecycle marketing platforms such as Customer.io, HubSpot, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with GA4, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools.
- Curiosity about AI and how it's changing marketing, with a willingness to experiment with new tools and ways of working.
- Strong communication and project management skills, with experience partnering across Product, Sales, Design, and Engineering.
- A high-agency mindset. You're proactive, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by building things that have real business impact.
