JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Channel Compliance & Distribution Program Management safeguards direct channel contribution, including parity integrity, channel health and drives compliance across all distribution channels, both internally & externally. The role identifies and closes connectivity & rate-parity gaps, addresses wholesale leakage, key word infringements and investigates unauthorized distribution that could affect franchisee performance, direct channel share and brand consistency. Working with internal partners and external stakeholders, this position enforces distribution standards & commercial obligations and strengthens compliance processes, with particular emphasis on channel connectivity health. The role supports a large, global portfolio of franchised hotels and operates as a people leader with significant cross-functional influence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead Agentic Distribution & Direct Strategy initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and operationalizing AI-enabled distribution channels and direct-booking use cases; define governance, compliance requirements, performance measures, and cross-functional workflows to protect rate integrity, brand standards, and franchisee value.
• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of compliance programs focused on rate parity, key word infringements, channel health monitoring and wholesale distribution practices.
• Lead & develop rate monitoring performance across brand.com, OTAs, and third-party channels to identify and resolve pricing inconsistencies.
• Investigate and resolve wholesale rate leakage, undercutting, and unauthorized resale of inventory.
• Support enforcement of distribution policies and contractual agreements, including managing escalations in partnership with Legal and Commercial teams.
• Partners with digital marketing to hold channels accountable for key word infringements.
• Develop and maintain reporting to track compliance trends, measure impact, and support decision-making.
• Conduct compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to brand standards, channel health best practices and distribution guidelines.
• Partner with Revenue Management and Distribution teams to reinforce channel strategy, rate integrity, and inventory controls.
• Collaborate with Franchisee Care (Channel Management) and Franchise Performance organizations to create best practices integral for delivering value to our franchisees and operators.
• Identify opportunities to improve tools, automation, and processes to enhance detection and resolution of violations and missing distribution monitoring practices.
• Create education & resources to deliver greater knowledge of channels to internal corporate teams & franchisees. Maintain approved third-party channel list as well as research & developing perspective on emerging players.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams and franchisees to promote best practices and reduce compliance risk.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Employment Experience
• 8-10 years of experience in hotel distribution, revenue management, compliance, or related commercial functions.
• Experience working in a franchise environment and supporting multi-property portfolios preferred.
• Experience identifying and resolving rate discrepancies and unauthorized distribution activity.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience with rate shopping and market intelligence platforms (e.g., Lighthouse/OTA Insight, RateGain, Triptease, Adthena or similar).
• Deep knowledge of OTA platforms, distribution systems, channel distribution platforms, commercial agreements and emerging trends.

Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Hospitality, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• Relevant certifications or training in revenue management
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $123,000 to $142,000 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP),
