Senior Learning & Development Specialist

As a Senior Learning & Development Specialist at ICON, you will be integral in shaping and deliver impactful learning and development programs that drive employee growth and organizational success.


What You Will Do:

You will take ownership of learning and organisational development deliverables, applying your expertise to complex challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing effective learning and development programs that meet organizational needs and support employee growth.
  • Conducting thorough needs assessments and collaborating with department leaders to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning solutions.
  • Facilitating engaging training sessions and workshops, both in-person and online, to enhance employee skills and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Evaluating the impact and effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development to ensure programs remain relevant and innovative.
  • Providing coaching and support to managers and employees, guiding them on learning opportunities and career development paths.

Your Profile:

You will have a strong foundation in learning and organisational development, with the experience to work independently and guide others.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field; advanced certifications in learning and development or instructional design are beneficial.
  • Significant experience in designing and delivering learning and development programs, with a strong track record of creating impactful training solutions.
  • Proven ability to conduct needs assessments, develop training materials, and facilitate engaging learning experiences.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience in evaluating program effectiveness and utilizing data to drive improvements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and inspire a culture of learning.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 50%)

Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
