About Gigmos

Gigmos is a global technical support and managed services company built on a dual workforce model — a core team of permanent employees supported by a distributed pool of experienced gig engineers.

Our workforce operates across 9+ countries, supporting clients in 6+ global languages, with a predominantly remote working model. Gigmos has been a delivery partner to Microsoft for over six years.

Our gig engineers are experienced specialists who handle real enterprise support cases and are paid based on the work they successfully resolve.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support for Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.

Cases are received through the client's support queue during your committed shift. You will be responsible for diagnosing, reproducing, resolving, and documenting customer issues.

This is a hands-on technical role. You should be comfortable investigating errors, logs, run history, and platform behaviour to identify the actual root cause and provide the right resolution.

What You Will Handle

Power Apps

  • Troubleshoot Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, including formula/expression errors, delegation warnings, control behaviour, performance, and load-time issues.
  • Resolve data source and connector issues such as authentication, refresh failures, connector limits, and throttling.
  • Troubleshoot Dataverse including tables, columns, relationships, security roles, permissions, and business rules.
  • Handle environment and ALM issues including solution imports, managed/unmanaged solutions, environment variables, and deployment failures.
  • Support licensing and entitlement queries, including premium connector requirements.

Power Automate

  • Troubleshoot Cloud Flow failures, trigger conditions, run-history errors, expressions, dynamic content, loops, and concurrency.
  • Support Power Automate Desktop/RPA issues including machine registration, unattended runs, credentials, and gateway problems.
  • Troubleshoot Approvals, scheduled flows, and integrations with Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Dataverse.
  • Handle throttling, API limits, retry policies, and performance issues.
  • Troubleshoot DLP policy blocks and governance-related failures.

Case Management

  • Reproduce reported issues before confirming the resolution.
  • Provide clear and accurate customer-facing updates and case documentation.
  • Escalate cases outside your scope with complete troubleshooting evidence.
  • Contribute reusable solutions to the knowledge base.
  • Maintain defined response time, resolution quality, SLA, and customer satisfaction standards.

Requirements

Essential

  • Hands-on experience building and supporting Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
  • Strong practical experience with Power Automate flows.
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse, connectors, environments, and Power Platform security.
  • Ability to troubleshoot using error messages, logs, telemetry, and flow run history.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving and case ownership.
  • Reliable high-speed internet, working system, and a quiet workspace.
  • Willingness to complete BGV, NDA, and client security/data-handling requirements.

Preferred

  • Microsoft certifications: PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600.
  • Experience in customer-facing technical support/service desk environments.
  • Experience working with SLAs and enterprise support cases.
  • Exposure to Power BI, Azure, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365.
  • Additional language proficiency apart from English.

How the Engagement Works

Shift Commitment

  • Choose from available 4-hour or 8-hour shift blocks.
  • Shift windows are scheduled across different time zones, providing flexibility in selecting a suitable working window.
  • Once a shift is committed, you are expected to be logged in, available, and actively handling cases throughout the shift.

Pay Per Ticket

  • This is a pay-per-ticket engagement with no fixed monthly salary or retainer.
  • Payment is based on ticket complexity and successful resolution.
  • Rates, complexity tiers, and payment cycles will be communicated before the first shift.
  • Payment is linked to genuine resolution and quality, not simply ticket closure.
  • Cases reopened due to the same unresolved issue may be treated as unresolved.

Monitoring

  • Activity monitoring may be required during committed shift hours as part of client engagement requirements.
  • Monitoring requirements will be explained during onboarding and apply only during shift hours.

Onboarding

Selected engineers will complete:

  • Gigmos onboarding formalities
  • Background Verification (BGV)
  • NDA and client security requirements
  • Client-specific process and technical training
  • Any required assessment or certification

Engineers can begin handling live cases after completing the required onboarding process.

Important to Know

  • This is not a salaried employment position and does not include employment benefits.
  • There is no guaranteed monthly income.
  • Earnings depend on the shifts selected, tickets handled, ticket complexity, and successful resolutions.
  • This opportunity is not intended for candidates looking to learn Power Platform on the job. Practical working experience is required from the start.

Who This Role Suits

This opportunity is ideal for:

  • Experienced Power Platform Developers and Engineers
  • Power Platform Consultants and Freelancers
  • Technical professionals looking for flexible, output-based work
  • Experienced engineers interested in handling real enterprise customer cases
  • Professionals looking for flexible technical work alongside other commitments
