JOB SUMMARY

The People Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the People (HR) team and helps deliver an excellent candidate & employee experience across the employee lifecycle. This role manages day-to-day people operations tasks – talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, benefits & payroll administration support, HRIS data accuracy, employee communications, compliance tracking, and reporting—while supporting a positive, inclusive workplace.

Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain HRIS and employee records (updates, audits, and reporting) to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal/state/local laws.

• Support benefits administration: enrollments, changes, liaise with benefits vendors, and assist employees with benefits questions.

• Assist with payroll processes by preparing and validating data, timesheet follow-up, and coordinating with payroll provider. • Manage leave tracking and accommodations (FMLA, short-term disability, other leaves), ensuring compliance and timely communication.

• Prepare standard HR reports and dashboards (turnover, headcount, new hires, diversity metrics) and support ad-hoc analyses.

• Maintain and update People policies, procedures, and the employee handbook; support policy rollouts and training.

• Support HR projects (process improvements, system implementations, DEI initiatives) and other duties as assigned.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• 2–4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or administrative role supporting HR functions.

• Familiarity with ATS systems (e.g., Workable) and strong comfort with

• Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft SharePoint, Excel/Google Sheets.

• Provident with Rippling HRIS system

• Solid knowledge of employment-related documentation and basic compliance (I9, W-4, state reporting).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Should have good Knowldge about US/Canada Compliance

• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver tasks on deadline in a fast-paced environment.

• High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment.

• This role will primarily support the North America People Operations team and therefore requires availability to work during US business hours to effectively collaborate with employees, managers, and stakeholders across the region.

EDUCATION

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
