Senior International Accounting Specialist

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Remote | PH Time

Role Overview:

The Senior International Accounting Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for international consolidation matters and drive accounting efficiencies across all levels within Atticus Solutions. You will be responsible for preparing journal entries, managing monthly financials for international subsidiaries, and ensuring accurate intercompany reimbursement billing. Additionally, this role supports the monthly close process and assists with annual statutory reporting while maintaining robust internal control procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for the parent company of International Subsidiaries

• Prepare intercompany reimbursement billing to cross-charge appropriate legal entities (intercompany invoices and credit requests)

• Manage monthly financials for International Subsidiaries

• Prepare intercompany journals and resolve any out-of-balance conditions

• This position will work with other accounting teams to support the monthly close process and ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness

• This position will be a point of contact for International Consolidation matters and drive accounting efficiencies across all levels within Atticus Solutions

• Work with international accountants to reconcile intercompany accounts

• Assist with annual statutory reporting and required audit

• Experience in intercompany management allocations

• Establish internal control procedures and ensure compliance to maintain data integrity

• Complete special projects as assigned

• International Accounting experience is required, including preparing intercompany invoices
  

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• 7+ years of hands-on, full-cycle international accounting experience.

• Strong Excel skills with the ability to develop scalable, accurate, and complete accounting work papers

• NetSuite experience.

• Proven experience (hopefully recent experience) dealing with intercompany transactions, invoices, etc.

• Proven accounting knowledge of intercompany accounting, i.e., how to record transactions in the general ledger system, etc.

• Proven experience how in reconciling intercompany transactions

What Will Set You Apart:

• CPA preferred, or equivalent experience

• Note: All candidates will be asked accounting questions, i.e., how to record specific transactions.
