The Senior HR Officer will manage day-to-day HR operations, payroll processing, and statutory compliance for the Philippines office. They will also support regional HR policy execution, employee engagement initiatives, and office administration tasks.

What We Need:
We are looking for a Senior HR Officer to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our Human Resources department.
This role will act as the country HR and administration lead for the Philippines, responsible for in-house payroll processing, statutory compliance, day-to-day HR operations, and office administration for PH staff. The role escalates operational HR queries to the Headquarters’ HR Generalist Team (SG) via Lane 1 and escalates ER, compliance, and sensitive matters directly to the Director of HR via Lane 2. The role supports the local execution of regional HR policies and programmes.
Philippines statutory compliance — DOLE requirements, BIR filings, and labour law adherence
Day to day HR operations for PH staff — queries, onboarding, offboarding, probation
Local execution of regional HR policies, programmes, and communications
Office administration for Philippines operations
HRIS data ownership for Philippines in ProSoft / Octomate (post rollout)
Employee engagement and wellbeing delivery for Philippines
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the full spectrum of day-to-day HR operations for Philippines employees, including employee queries, onboarding, offboarding, probation tracking, and employee lifecycle administration
Process Philippines payroll in-house on a monthly basis, including statutory deductions and contributions such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG
Support the local implementation of regional HR policies, SOPs, programmes, and communications for Philippines employees
Manage office administration and vendor relationships for Philippines operations
Maintain accurate HRIS data for Philippines employees, conduct regular data audits, and support HRIS rollout initiatives
Deliver local employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives in alignment with regional programmes
Track and report Philippines-specific HR data, including training completion, headcount, and employee exits, to the Singapore HR team
Coordinate office and virtual activities and operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Assist the Director of HR with ad hoc HR projects and other HR-related initiatives
Coordinate interview scheduling and local job postings for Philippines recruitment, liaising with the relevant Talent Acquisition and HR teams when needed

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Accounting, or an equivalent field
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar HR role or related scope
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficient in Philippines labour and manpower legislation, including foreign work permit applications and renewals
Able to independently handle Philippines payroll and manpower tax calculations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with various departments, including department heads and management
Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines
