The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Google Ads and performance marketing, with a proven ability to plan, execute, and scale high-impact campaigns aligned with business objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Take strategic ownership of the Google Ads channel, helping to shape campaign strategy to align with business goals.

  • Drive the planning, execution, and optimisation of high-impact Search campaigns, as well as testing cross-channel campaigns including Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, and Remarketing.

  • Define and implement campaign structures, bidding strategies, and targeting approaches that scale efficiently.

  • Analyse complex performance data to identify trends, optimise budgets, and inform strategic decisions.

  • Conduct comprehensive audits and performance reviews, making high-level recommendations for improvement.

  • Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their development and ensuring best practices are applied across campaigns.

  • Implement A/B testing strategies across creatives, landing pages, and campaign structures, interpreting results to drive actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with broader marketing objectives.

  • Introduce innovative strategies, staying ahead of Google Ads updates, emerging trends, and industry best practices.

  • Manage complex troubleshooting for tracking, compliance, or campaign delivery, ensuring campaigns run smoothly at scale.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 5+ years managing Google Ads campaigns with demonstrated success in performance-driven environments.

  • A relevant BSc/MSc in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, Management, or a related discipline.

  • Current Google Ads Certifications. Advanced specialisations are a plus.

  • Strong command of advanced campaign structures, bidding strategies, and multi-channel planning.

  • Experience with automation tools (Ads Scripts, API workflows, Ads Editor) to manage and optimise at scale.

  • A deep understanding of measurement, tracking, GA4, GTM, and attribution frameworks.

  • Proven ability to manage significant budgets, ensuring profitability and strategic allocation.

  • Experience mentoring or leading others, with a natural inclination toward helping talent grow.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, supported by excellent attention to detail.

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets capabilities for modelling, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Experience working with more advanced analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Looker, or similar) are a plus.

  • Familiarity with wider PPC/SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Similarweb for insights and research.

  • Solid understanding of CRO principles, user behaviour, and landing page optimisation.

  • A track record of designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests that shape campaign direction.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex performance insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership teams.

  • Excellent command of English; additional languages are a welcome bonus.

Remuneration Package:
