The ideal candidate will have strong functional experience across SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, along with exposure to SAP Ariba and its integration with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA environments. - Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather and document business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications and SAP configurations.
- Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning, purchase orders, goods receipts, goods movements, invoice verification, and vendor management.
- Leverage SAP Ariba experience to support procurement transformation initiatives and integration with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA systems.
- Configure and support SAP MM functionality, including purchasing, inventory management, material master data, account determination, and valuation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support integration between SAP MM and other modules, including Finance (FI/CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Warehouse Management (WM/EWM).
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), post-implementation support, and training activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the P2P, IM, and MM modules through SAP functionality and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and support the resolution of integration and configuration challenges.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, test plans, and user guides.
- Stay current with SAP S/4HANA capabilities, SAP Ariba solutions, and evolving procurement best practices.
- Up to 80% of travel required depending on the project.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP MM, procurement, or materials management consulting, including implementation and support experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP MM and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Experience with SAP Ariba solutions and an understanding of integration with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM configuration, including purchasing, purchase orders, goods receipts, inventory movements, invoice verification, and material master data.
- Solid understanding of SAP integration with other business processes and modules (e.g., SD, WM, FICO).
- Experience with functional documentation, testing, defect resolution, and data migration activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification in Materials Management, Sourcing and Procurement, or related SAP solutions.
- Experience with SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Guided Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, or SAP Business Network.
- Experience in discrete manufacturing, Engineer-to-Order (ETO), or other manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA procurement capabilities.
- Experience with inventory optimization, subcontracting, vendor evaluation, and quality management processes.
