We are an innovative and creative team organized around two complementary areas: cloud infrastructure and on-premises infrastructure. Both work closely together, supporting each other to deliver robust and scalable systems.

We don't just support development teams; we partner deeply with them. We act as enablers, breaking down traditional silos and collaborating on every aspect of system design. We look for experienced technical leaders who have deep empathy for programmers, understand their pain points, and take the initiative to build solutions that make their lives easier. You will be expected to influence best practices, proactively drive improvements, and act as a technical reference while remaining humble, curious, and willing to roll up your sleeves.

💡 What you will do:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to take a leading role in our Cloud Operations team. In this position, you will not only manage a sophisticated multi-cloud, multi-product environment across AWS and GCP (EU, US, and AP), but you will also drive its architectural evolution.

You will act as the essential foundation for the reliability and performance of a diverse real estate portfolio (Trovit, Mitula, Lamudi, FazWaz, Wasi, Proppit, and DotProperty). Success in this role requires a high degree of initiative and the ability to influence and align multiple engineering teams around cloud best practices.

🚀 Technical Leadership & Developer Enablement

• Act as a proactive technical reference, influencing architectural decisions and fostering a DevOps culture across multiple development teams.

• Understanding programmers' daily challenges and guiding them with deep empathy.

• Take the initiative to identify systemic bottlenecks and drive cross-team projects to improve overall platform reliability and deployment speed.

☁️ Infrastructure Management (AWS & GCP)

• Architect, manage, and operate AWS/GCP services, ensuring seamless interoperability between platforms with Cross Connects and VPNs.

• Design and provision scalable infrastructure for development teams using Terraform / Terragrunt and GitLab pipelines.

• Manage complex DNS zones (Route53, Cloudflare) across multiple domains and brands.

• Drive CDN/WAF configurations (CloudFront, Cloudflare), including geo-blocking and bot management.

🦺💰 Cloud Financial Operations & DevOps Engineering

• Lead investigations to optimise cloud costs through traffic analysis and CloudTrail optimization.

• Partner with engineering teams to analyze cost anomalies and influence them to adopt cost-effective architectural choices.

• Collaborate empathetically with programmers on product development, resolving intricate issues related to application configuration, deployment, and debugging.

🔐 Security & Access Management

• Drive AWS Organization account onboarding and enforce security best practices (Control Tower enrollment, SCP policies, billing profiles).

• Govern AWS IAM users, SSO groups, cross-account roles, and permission policies across 15+ AWS accounts.

• Respond to and mitigate AWS security and CNAPP alerts.

📊🚨 Monitoring, Observability & Incident Response in On-Call

• Design and evolve monitoring and observability stacks: Prometheus, Alertmanager, CloudWatch.

• Participate in on-call rotations, providing expert response to complex production incidents.

• Troubleshoot deep performance issues across the infrastructure stack, guiding multiple teams to a swift resolution.

🔎 What we are looking for:

❗Please keep in mind that, although we would love to meet you, to proceed with your application, a valid working permit for Spain is needed.❗

• 7+ years of overall engineering experience, with 5+ years managing large-scale production infrastructure in AWS.

• High Initiative: A proven track record of proactively identifying architectural gaps and driving solutions from conception to deployment.

• Influence & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions, mentor peers, and foster a culture of engineering excellence across multiple teams.

• Strong skills in Linux and Open Source software.

• Expert-level experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) building tools, especially Terraform.

• Deep, hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

• Solid and successful background in Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration.

• Advanced experience in designing and building Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• English language skills (team communication is bilingual ES/EN).

What's a plus but not mandatory:

• Configuration management tools like Ansible.

• Experience in logging systems with EFK or similar.

• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python or Java.

• Experience with Cloudflare (WAF, DNS, bot management).

• Familiarity with DigitalOcean environments and managed databases.
