Senior Cinematic Animator - Freelance

Join CI Games and be part of shaping the future of gaming. As we embark on an ambitious strategic roadmap with major releases planned for 2026-2028, we're seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Cinematic Animator to help us create ground-breaking experiences that captivate players worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Animate characters and props for cinematic sequences with a focus on high-energy action and storytelling

• Use Maya to create, refine, and polish animation before integration into Unreal Engine

• Collaborate with cinematic artists to choreograph action-driven, cinematic moments that emphasize clarity and drama

• Apply technical animation skills, including rigging, skinning characters/props for cinematic use, and cleaning up motion capture data

• Troubleshoot and optimize animation pipelines between Maya and Unreal Engine

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Character Animation for Games or Film with a focus on Cinematic work

• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality cinematic animation work

• Experience with motion capture cleanup and implementation

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and contribute to a fast-paced production environment

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Based in Spain
