This role acts as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient benefit system operations.

About Marvell

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

The Senior Program Manager, Global Benefits leads complex, multi-country benefit implementations, owns the end-to-end program management of the retirement transition program, and drives benefits-related workstreams for mergers and acquisitions. This role is the primary bridge between Benefits, HRIS, IT, IT Security, and external benefit vendors. The role ensures that benefit programs and the systems and vendors that support them are implemented on time, operate securely, and remain compliant over time. The position works with minimal oversight, makes sound decisions under ambiguity, and takes on special projects that advance Benefits and Total Rewards priorities.

What You Can Expect

Global Benefit Implementations

  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex benefit implementations with significant scale or organizational impact (i.e, a global benefits administration platform, US benefits administration platform, etc.). This includes coordinating local legal, payroll, HR, and vendor teams to address jurisdiction-specific requirements, sequencing country waves, and managing the dependencies that come with multi-market deployments.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, risk registers, and status reporting for implementation programs, and escalate issues and decisions to leadership as needed.
  • Define and manage implementation governance, including stakeholder alignment, scope control, change management, and go-live readiness across all participating countries.

Retirement Transition Program

  • Own the end-to-end program management of the retirement transition program, from implementation through ongoing operations, including vendor coordination, participant consultations including Medicare coordination, and performance monitoring.
  • Establish program KPIs, track outcomes, and recommend process or vendor improvements based on data.
  • Manage the ongoing lifecycle of the program, including periodic reviews, regulatory and plan changes, and continuous improvement, including global expansion.

M&A Benefits Integration

  • Lead benefits project management for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs on a global basis, including due diligence support, benefits harmonization or separation planning, vendor transition, and day-one and post-close readiness.
  • Partner with Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, HRIS, and IT to define integration timelines, dependencies, and data migration requirements.

HRIS and IT Partnership, Vendor and Systems Management

  • Serve as the Benefits point of contact for HRIS and IT on benefit systems, integrations, data feeds, and system changes, and manage associated project work from the Benefits side.
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure benefit vendor information in internal systems and vendor inventories is accurate and current, including contacts, contract details, data flows, and system ownership.
  • Ensure all benefit vendors complete required security, privacy, and risk assessments on schedule, track completion, and follow up on gaps.
  • Liaise with IT Security when concerns are raised about a vendor’s risk assessment or security posture, and help drive remediation and risk acceptance decisions.
  • Lead or support Benefits-side response for any security incident, data breach, or vendor outage involving benefit data or systems. This includes coordinating vendor communications, supporting incident investigation, managing employee and regulator notification inputs where applicable, and documenting lessons learned.

Special Projects and Team Priorities

  • Lead special projects aligned to Benefits and broader Total Rewards priorities, such as vendor selection, process redesign, benefits technology initiatives, or analysis and reporting for leadership.

Serve as a trusted advisor on program management practices, standardizing templates, playbooks, and governance for the Benefits team

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of program or project management experience, with a strong record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing global employee benefit programs, such as health and welfare, retirement, or equity-related programs.
  • Hands-on experience with M&A integration or separation work involving employee benefits.
  • Experience working with HRIS and IT teams on system implementations, integrations, or data governance.
  • Familiarity with vendor management, third-party risk assessment processes, and security or privacy requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders and translate technical or legal detail for non-specialists.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work across time zones, and operate independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent program management credential.
  • Knowledge of global retirement plan design, regulatory requirements, and cross-border benefit considerations.
  • Experience with benefits administration platforms, HRIS systems (such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors), or benefits enrollment and data integration tools.
  • Working knowledge of data privacy frameworks (such as GDPR or CCPA) and information security concepts.
  • Experience supporting incident response or breach coordination from a business or HR perspective.
Core Competencies
  • Program leadership: Drives outcomes across teams without direct authority.
  • Risk management: Identifies, escalates, and mitigates risks early, including security and vendor risk.
  • Stakeholder influence: Builds trust and alignment across Benefits, HR, Legal, Finance, IT, and external partners.
  • Analytical rigor: Uses data to measure program health and drive decisions.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments such as M&A activity and incident response.
