Senior Accountant

About the Role:
Direct report to the VP of Finance, responsible for managing the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, enforcing financial controls, and ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

Month-End Close & Audit

• Prepare and review reconciliations
• Support timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation
• Respond to auditor requests and assist with walkthroughs and testing

Inventory Accounting

• Reconcile inventory AP subledgers to the general ledger
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to resolve pricing, quantity, and timing discrepancies
• Support inventory costing accuracy and cutoff during month-end close

Qualifications/Requirement 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
• 3-5 years of experience
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP
• Experience using an ERP
• Proficiency with Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
