Build and manage the Madrid partnership portfolio from the ground up across performing arts, theatre, and sports. This includes identifying and signing partners, activating deals, and serving as the primary face of TodayTix in the Spanish market.
About the Role:TodayTix is on a mission to find a seat for everyone. We connect audiences to live entertainment experiences they'll love, making it easier, faster, and more joyful to discover and buy tickets — with a particular focus on theatre and the performing arts. We are part of MARI — an exciting, growing, global live events and experiences company — whose portfolio includes the Mutua Madrid Open, one of the world's premier ATP and WTA tennis tournaments. Madrid joins London, New York, Sydney, and beyond as TodayTix's next chapter — and this role is at the heart of building it.
We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager to build TTG’s Madrid market from the ground up. This is our first Spanish-language market and a significant milestone in TTG’s international expansion into live entertainment and sports — a natural expression of our place within the MARI portfolio, whose flagship Spanish property, the Mutua Madrid Open, gives TTG immediate roots and reach in the city. You will own the Madrid supply portfolio end-to-end: identifying and signing partners, activating deals, and building the relational and commercial foundation that enables TTG to scale. You’ll work cross-functionally with Partner Ops and Marketing, and serve as TTG’s primary face in Madrid.
This role is for a sharp, proactive operator who thrives in ambiguity, earns trust quickly with institutional partners, and brings the commercial instincts and cultural fluency to establish TTG as the go-to destination for theatre, live entertainment, and sports in Spain.
Please note: This is a full-time position and qualified candidates must be based in the greater Madrid area. The salary range for this role is €60,000 to €80,000 per year.
What Success Looks Like:- Madrid partner portfolio: Sign 10–15 partners across performing arts, theatre, live entertainment, and sports in Year 1
- Access programs and exclusive inventory: Launch 20–30 access programs (Rush, Lottery, flash sales) and close 5 deals with exclusive inventory in Year 1
- Partner health and retention: Maintain high partner satisfaction and on-time activation through a six-star onboarding experience, measured via partner feedback and renewal rate
- Market presence: Build TTG’s brand credibility in Madrid through active representation at industry events, cultural forums, and the Mutua Madrid Open
What You’ll Do:- Build and manage the Madrid partnership portfolio across performing arts, theatre, live entertainment, and sports — prospecting, pitching, and advancing deals with Madrid’s leading venues, arts organizations, and sports properties
- Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across the Madrid market, including marketing directors, general managers, producers, agents, and sports rights holders
- Support and prepare seasonal and show-level negotiations, structuring opportunities that drive mutual value — including access programs, exclusive inventory, flash sales, and promotional campaigns — in close collaboration with senior leadership
- Lead partner onboarding and activation for new Madrid signings, ensuring a high-quality experience that reflects TTG’s six-star standard from day one
- Work closely with the MARI team on Mutua Madrid Open activations, identifying opportunities to integrate TTG’s ticketing and audience capabilities into one of the portfolio’s flagship live sports properties
- Collaborate with Partner Ops to ensure accurate inventory management, financial reconciliations, and platform setup for all Madrid partners
- Partner with Marketing to prioritize and amplify Madrid supply, securing exclusive offers and supporting multi-show and multi-sport campaigns that drive demand in a new market
- Serve as TTG’s on-the-ground market expert — tracking the competitive landscape, programming calendar, and partner health, and surfacing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
- Represent TTG externally at industry events, partner meetings, and cultural and sports forums in Madrid
We’re Looking for Someone With:- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or account management — in arts, live entertainment, sports, hospitality, or a similarly relationship-driven environment
- Native Spanish speaker with full professional fluency in English — written and verbal, with the ability to build authentic relationships and navigate negotiations in both languages
- Familiarity with the Madrid performing arts and/or sports landscape; existing relationships with theatres, venues, promoters, or sports organizations are a strong plus
- A working knowledge of marketing principles and campaign mechanics — you understand how to position a partner's inventory for maximum impact, and can brief and collaborate with marketing teams to turn partnerships into audience-facing moments
- A bias for action and a track record of moving deals forward — building pipelines, advancing conversations, and closing in close collaboration with senior leadership
- Solid commercial instincts: you understand partner motivations, can identify mutual value, and contribute meaningfully to deal structures and proposals
- Resourcefulness and comfort operating in an ambiguous, build-it-as-you-go environment — you’re energized by being first in a market, not daunted by it
- Clear, confident communication: you can represent TTG well in a room, synthesize information into crisp stakeholder updates, and pitch with conviction
- Ability to work cross-functionally and asynchronously with teams across time zones (London, US)
- Genuine passion for theatre, live performance, and sports — and an understanding of the role the arts and major events play in city culture
- Background in theatre administration, arts marketing, sports partnerships, or arts management is strongly preferred
