AI Summary

The Senior Account Executive will lead the full sales cycle for Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks across ASEAN and North Asia, focusing on acquiring new business and managing existing commercial relationships. They will coordinate with pre-sales, product, and professional services teams to deliver strategic solutions that address the digital and data needs of financial institutions.

Personetics is the financial intelligence layer for banks. Our Cognitive Banking platform turns a bank's own transaction data into real-time, personalised guidance, delivered in the bank's own channels and under its own brand. It embeds into the systems a bank already runs, extending what those investments deliver rather than replacing them.

More than 100 financial institutions use Personetics to reach over 150 million customers across 30 markets. We work from New York, London, Singapore, São Paulo and Tel Aviv.

About the position

You will work at the forefront of how AI is changing retail banking, alongside the Tier 1 and Tier 2 institutions across ASEAN and North Asia, at the level where digital and data strategy is actually set: Chief Digital Officers, Chief Data & AI Officers and Heads of Retail. Some are already our customers. Others are deciding now how to build the intelligence layer between their data and their customers, and your job is to earn the right to shape that decision.

You will be working from a position of strength. Banks already have the data, the products, the rails and the customer's trust. What they do not have is a way to turn all of it into guidance that arrives at the right moment, at scale, and within the rules. That gap is costing them: 80 percent of consumers in Asia Pacific would consider switching banks to close it. You are here to make sure they close it with us.

Responsibilities

  • Win new Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks. Develop and execute account strategies across the region, building senior relationships and getting into banks early, before a formal process begins. Arrive with a considered point of view on a bank's position and priorities.
  • Own the commercial relationship in the accounts we already serve, extending into new business lines, new markets and new use cases, and ensuring long-term partnerships continue to earn their place.
  • Manage the full cycle from sourcing through to signature, including senior stakeholder engagement, technical and security evaluation, regulatory and outsourcing review, procurement and legal. Build the commercial case on the bank’s own economics and defend it with confidence.
  • Direct pre-sales, and the professional services architects who come in behind them, along with product and customer success, into the accounts where they will change the outcome. Lead a coordinated pursuit rather than a solo one.
  • Maintain accurate qualification, pipeline and forecasting, and give the business a clear and honest view of what is real.
  • Represent Personetics at the industry events and client forums that matter across the region, and turn that presence into relationships and pipeline.

Requirements

  • A track record of sourcing and closing complex enterprise software deals with banks or large financial institutions, as the accountable owner of the full sales cycle
  • Credibility with senior banking stakeholders, and the instinct to earn a strategic conversation rather than a product one
  • Experience selling into environments where an incumbent platform or an in-house build already exists
  • The ability to build a commercial business case and defend it with a finance stakeholder
  • The judgement to tell a bank something it did not want to hear, and the standing to be listened to when you do
  • The patience for cycles measured in quarters, and the discipline to keep one moving through the months when nothing visible is happening
  • Based in Singapore or Hong Kong
  • Willing to travel across the region, approximately 30% to 40%

What You Can Expect From Us

  • An established customer base in the region to build from, with 25 million active users across Asia Pacific
  • Referenceable customers in the region who will take a call from a prospect
  • Dedicated pre-sales for the region, working with you from first meeting through to solution design, with professional services architects joining for technical depth as deals progress
  • Regional marketing and an active presence at the industry events that matter across ASEAN
  • A leadership team that works alongside you in your accounts
  • Remote-first, with an office in Singapore and colleagues to share it with when you want to. No required days.
