SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Consultant

• Relevant Experience Required: 4+ years of dedicated configuration and implementation experience within the SAP SD module
  
• Mandatory Certification: SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution (S/4HANA preferred)
  

• Configure core SAP SD components, including Sales Order processing, Quotations, Contracts, Outbound Deliveries, and Billing/Invoicing pipelines.
  
• Design complex pricing architectures using the SAP Condition Technique, setting up custom pricing procedures, condition records, access sequences, and promotional discount tables.
  
• Manage enterprise organizational structures, configuring Sales Organizations, Distribution Channels, Divisions, Sales Offices, and Shipping Points.
  
• Optimize logistics execution parameters, including Available-to-Promise (ATP) checks, transfer of requirements (TOR), route determination, and picking/packing rules.
  
• Implement credit management frameworks, defining automated credit check limits, block workflows, and release procedures in alignment with corporate finance policies.
  
• Collaborate with ABAP and integration teams to create detailed functional specifications (RICEFW) for custom billing output formats, user exits, and external EDI/API messaging.
  
• Drive tight system integration across touchpoints between SAP SD and adjacent modules, particularly SAP MM, PP, and FICO.
  

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on SAP functional configuration experience, with 4+ dedicated years deploying and supporting the SAP SD ecosystem.
  
• Strong technical mastery of SAP ECC or S/4HANA configuration structures, O2C document types, copy controls, and item category determination rules.
  
• Deep structural knowledge of international trade compliance, tax determination engine routines, and multi-currency billing lifecycles.
  
• Mandatory certification: SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution.
  

• Prior S/4HANA implementation experience, specifically leveraging Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) or Business Partner (BP) conversion architectures.
  
• Experience integrating SAP SD with external digital e-commerce storefronts or third-party CRM platforms.
