The work

The SAP Federal Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the Finance process area and helping define functional requirements, design application solutions, and ensure alignment with business processes for a large‑scale federal SAP program. You will provide leadership and guidance to functional teams, ensuring that solution design and delivery align with project goals, federal compliance needs, and stakeholder expectations.

This role oversees the implementation of SAP solutions, ensures the accuracy and completeness of functional designs, and collaborates closely with stakeholders to provide insights on project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables. You will promote adherence to the Accenture delivery methodology to drive efficient and effective project outcomes. Deep experience with SFIS, GTAS, and SLOA is essential in supporting federal financial processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and direction to the SAP Finance functional team, ensuring alignment with project objectives
  • Oversee implementation of SAP financial solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and federal standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and key deliverables
  • Support adherence to Accenture delivery methodology, promoting quality and consistency across the project lifecycle
  • Ensure design decisions support federal reporting and compliance requirements, including SFIS, GTAS, and SLOA
  • Provide insight and leadership across multiple teams in a fast‑paced environment

Here’s what you need:

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP project management with a deep understanding of SAP Finance solutions and implementations
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing multiple teams in complex, fast‑moving environments
  • Ability to align SAP project goals with broader business and federal objectives
  • Deep experience with SFIS, GTAS, and SLOA federal financial standards

Eligibility requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required (no duals)
  • Eligible to obtain a government Public Trust clearance

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
