Sales Performance Manager

Location: Flexible Regional Coverage - South West
Salary: Up to £55,000 Basic + Monthly Bonus (Up to £1,800 per Month) + Annual Bonus + Benefits

Our client is a rapidly growing automotive organisation seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Performance Manager to support the continued expansion of its dealer network and market presence across the South West region.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious automotive professional to play a key role in driving retailer performance, increasing market share, and supporting the growth of an innovative automotive brand.

The Role

As a Sales Performance Manager, you will be responsible for maximising sales performance across a designated geographic region. Working closely with dealer partners, you will develop strong relationships, implement sales strategies, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to increase profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will act as a key point of contact for retailers, ensuring the successful execution of commercial objectives and delivering exceptional dealer support.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver and exceed regional sales, market share, and profitability targets.
Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, and Sales Leadership Teams.
Monitor retailer performance through regular dealership visits, business reviews, and performance analysis.
Implement regional sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to identify growth opportunities.
Support dealers in improving sales processes, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.
Provide coaching, guidance, and training to retailer teams to maximise performance.
Prepare and present detailed performance reports, forecasts, and business plans.
Ensure consistent brand representation and adherence to franchise standards across the network.
Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth and network development projects.
Travel extensively throughout the South West region to support dealer partners.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated automotive professional who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Essential Requirements
Minimum 8 years' experience within automotive sales, field operations, or dealer network management.
Strong understanding of automotive retail operations and franchise networks.
Proven track record of delivering sales growth and improving retailer performance.
Established relationships within dealer groups and automotive retail networks.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and market trends.
Commercially focused with a results-driven mindset.
Ability to influence, challenge, and support retailer partners effectively.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Flexibility to travel extensively throughout the South West region.

Desirable
Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Economics, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience working with manufacturer field teams or regional operations functions.
Experience supporting dealership development, site projects, or franchise implementation programmes.
