Join our European Sales Team and play a key role in expanding our customer portfolio within the MedTech and pharmaceutical industry.

As Sales Manager (m/w/d), you will identify and acquire new customers, develop existing business relationships and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will have the opportunity to shape business growth in a dynamic, international environment while working with innovative products and solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Business Development & New Customer Acquisition

  • Identify, approach and acquire new customers within defined target markets and industries

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs and business opportunities

  • Build and develop a strong sales pipeline to support sustainable growth

  • Generate new business opportunities and convert them into long-term customer relationships

Customer Development

  • Develop existing customer relationships and identify growth opportunities

  • Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives across products and services

  • Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews

  • Act as a trusted partner and advisor to customers

Commercial Management

  • Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing and contract terms

  • Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through successful closing

  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of business opportunities

  • Maintain complete and transparent customer documentation in the CRM system

Collaboration & Customer Excellence

  • Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Project Management and other internal stakeholders

  • Coordinate customer requirements and support successful project execution

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the entire customer journey

  • Support problem-solving and escalation management when required

Market Representation

  • Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events and customer meetings

  • Deliver professional customer presentations and business discussions

  • Strengthen the company's market presence and industry network

What You Bring

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales experience

  • Ideally experience within:

    • MedTech

    • Pharmaceutical Packaging

    • CDMO / Contract Manufacturing

    • Life Sciences

    • or another highly regulated industry

  • Proven success in new business acquisition and customer development

  • Experience in commercial negotiations and contract management

  • Strong CRM and MS Office skills

  • Business fluent German and English

  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (up to 70%)

Ihr Profil

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field, alternatively a commercial-technical education with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within a C(D)MO environment in MedTech and/or primary packaging in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a comparable industry.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office and other relevant IT tools.
  • Business Fluent in local language
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • High self-motivation, independence, and decisiveness.
  • Analytical thinking with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
  • Intercultural competence and confident international presence.
