Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you are an essential driver of Oviva's market presence in Germany, operating with a strong balance of independence and cross-functional collaboration. In a remote-first setup, you will engage General Practitioners and specialists for our digital obesity therapies, building trust and establishing long-term partnerships with medical practices and clinics. This position contributes directly to our mission of expanding patient access to clinically effective digital care programs by turning clinical value propositions into consistent B2B referral volume.

Job requirements

Key skills

  • Consultative Sales & Relationship Building: Multi-year B2B sales experience with a proven track record of meeting targets and establishing trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals.

  • Healthcare Experience: Previous experience within the healthcare system and a foundational understanding of medical indications and conditions, ideally within the German doctor channel.

  • Ownership & Self-Management: High level of self-organisation and autonomous working style suited to a remote-first environment.

  • KPI Drive & Commercial Mindset: Target-driven approach combined with strong business acumen and a clear understanding of revenue goals.

  • CRM & Tool Proficiency: Solid experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and modern sales tools (e.g., Gong).

  • Language: Fluency in German is required; good command of English for strategic updates and KPI tracking.

Education & Qualifications

  • Academic Background: A relevant university degree in business administration, life sciences, healthcare management, or equivalent practical field-sales experience.

  • Professional Experience: Prior B2B sales experience required; background in healthcare or a scientific field is a strong advantage.

  • Domain Knowledge: An existing network of GPs or internists and familiarity with Digital Health Applications (DiGA) is highly advantageous.

Job responsibilities

  • Sales & Acquisition: Sell Oviva's digital obesity therapy to doctors and win new prescribers, working primarily with warm leads alongside occasional cold outreach.

  • Relationship Management: Nurture and expand relationships with existing prescribers, practices, and clinics to drive sustainable referral growth.

  • Hybrid Engagement: Conduct digital meetings and video calls with doctors, with willingness to transition to in-person visits if required.

  • Target & KPI Ownership: Take full ownership of daily sales activities to meet and exceed defined sales growth targets.

  • CRM Maintenance: Consistently track and manage all sales activities in the CRM system to ensure accurate pipeline visibility and data-driven decision making.
