About Hive

Hive Retail Solutions is a growing Canadian sales and merchandising agency representing

leading CPG and natural food brands across Canada. We work with brands to deliver strong

retail execution, field merchandising, brand activations, retail events and measurable results.

We are looking for a Retail Operations Coordinator who is highly organized, creative, proactive

and enjoys being the person who keeps things moving behind the scenes.

About the Role

The Retail Operations Coordinator is a varied and fast-paced role supporting our Brand

Management, Retail Operations, Marketing and Field Teams.

You will be involved in everything from coordinating samples and POP materials, brand

onboarding and client reports to proposals, events, social media, newsletters and digital

content. You will work with multiple teams and projects at the same time, making sure

information is organized, deadlines are met and nothing falls through the cracks.

This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys administration and coordination,

but also wants to use their creativity and contribute to marketing, events and client-facing

projects.

What You'll Be Doing

Retail & Brand Operations

  • Support Brand Managers with the day-to-day coordination of client and brand programs.

  • Track brand priorities, deadlines and deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.

  • Coordinate communication and information between Brand Managers, Field Teams,

  • Marketing and Operations.

  • Support client meetings, reports, presentations and follow-up activities.

  • Coordinate samples, POP materials, shipments and marketing collateral.

  • Assist with proposals, contracts and new business opportunities.

  • Coordinate onboarding for new brands and maintain organized client files and Google

  • Drive folders.

  • Marketing & Communications

  • Develop and maintain the monthly national sales call presentation.

  • Coordinate client and internal newsletters.

  • Assist with marketing communications, presentations and company initiatives.

  • Support Hive's social media strategy and content calendar.

  • Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram and other digital platforms.

  • Source photos, videos and success stories from our field teams across Canada.

  • Help keep Hive's website content current and relevant.

  • Events & Projects

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of trade shows, conferences, retail activations

  • and company events, including CHFA and guerrilla marketing events.

  • Coordinate event materials, samples, displays, promotional items and logistics.

  • Assist with grant applications, tracking and administration.

  • Support a variety of internal projects and initiatives as they arise.

  • A Self-Starter – You are a self-starter and a go-getter that works well independently with

  • minimal supervision.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in administration, coordination, retail operations, marketing, project coordination or a similar role.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience creating presentations, reports and professional business documents.

  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with social media and digital content creation is an asset.

  • Experience in retail, CPG, events, marketing or field operations is an asset.

  • Experience with Slack or similar communication platforms is an asset.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • A willingness to occasionally travel for events, trade shows and other business requirements.

What Hive Offers

  • Competitive salary: $60,000 per year

  • Cell phone allowance: $1,200 per year
