Our client, a large healthcare organization, is seeking a Buyer to support a fast-paced supply chain operation in a fully remote environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented procurement professional who thrives on customer service, takes ownership of their work, and can confidently navigate large data sets to support timely purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities to support organizational supply chain and operational needs.
• Respond promptly and professionally to internal customer requests and purchasing inquiries.
• Analyze and navigate large spreadsheets and data sets to identify, filter, sort, and extract relevant information.
• Monitor purchasing activities to ensure timely order processing and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support procurement and inventory objectives.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing workload and customer expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and support evolving supply chain initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to efficiently work with large data sets, filters, sorting functions, and reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and provide timely responses in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working independently in a remote work setting with consistent performance and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare supply chain, healthcare procurement, hospital purchasing, or a related healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated success supporting internal customers while balancing multiple priorities.
• Experience using ERP, procurement, or supply chain management systems.

This is a Contract position based out of Winston-Salem, NC.

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
