Registered Dietitian

NourishedRx is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our mission-driven clinical team. NourishedRx partners with health plans and healthcare organizations to deliver food-is-medicine programs designed to improve health outcomes for people living with chronic conditions and other nutrition-related health needs.

The Registered Dietitian provides individualized, evidence-based nutrition care to members across NourishedRx programs. This role includes nutrition assessment, counseling and education, collaborative goal setting, care planning, and ongoing follow-up. The RD works closely with members and the broader care team to help translate nutrition recommendations into practical, sustainable changes that reflect each member's health needs, preferences, resources, and goals.

A Registered Dietitian at NourishedRx will:

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide individualized nutrition counseling and education through telehealth.

• Develop and monitor evidence-based nutrition care plans based on members' clinical needs, dietary patterns, preferences, goals, and social circumstances.

• Use motivational interviewing and other patient-centered counseling approaches to support sustainable behavior change.

• Establish collaborative goals with members and evaluate progress through ongoing follow-up.

• Provide nutrition care for members with a variety of chronic and diet-sensitive health conditions.

• Document assessments, interventions, goals, and member progress accurately and timely within NourishedRx systems.

• Collaborate with other members of the care team to support coordinated, member-centered care.

• Develop and contribute to evidence-based nutrition education and member-facing resources.

• Maintain current knowledge of nutrition science, clinical practice guidelines, and relevant standards of care.

• Maintain required professional credentials and state licensure necessary to provide care to assigned members.

• Participate in clinical team meetings, continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and other activities supporting high-quality clinical care.

Experience / Skills:

NourishedRx is looking for Registered Dietitians who possess the following qualifications:

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration, maintained throughout employment.

• Active dietitian licensure where required and ability to obtain and maintain additional state licenses based on program needs.

• Strong nutrition assessment, counseling, and clinical decision-making skills.

• Experience using motivational interviewing and patient-centered counseling techniques.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong active listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with members from diverse backgrounds and with varying health and nutrition needs.

• Strong organization, time-management, and documentation skills.

• Comfort working in a virtual care environment and across multiple software platforms.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
