The Opportunity

About the Role 

It is the responsibility of the Regional Manager to oversee various states/jurisdictions within the Eastern Region for VIP Sports. Each state will have an Account Manager with between 4 and 8 Executive Sports Hosts.

The ideal candidate will manager and mentor these Leaders with a focus on managing the Executive Host Team. Other areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to, onboarding, customer contact, bonus optimization, hospitality management and reducing any friction of deposits and withdrawals.

West Coast Region, US (Las Vegas; Remote)

Responsibilities 

• Mentor and develop Account Managers in terms of process and professionalism 
• Establish and further develop the infrastructure for efficient ways of working in VIP Management 
• Focus on the fundamentals of effectively managing a team with an emphasis on Structure, Organization and Communication 
• Increase Active Player Days and Bet Count of all VIP clients 
• Educate team to understand and implement processes that optimize bonus spend and reinvestment 
• Identify potential VIP Sports players and through relationship building, bonuses and use of hospitality to increase the share of wallet  
• Work cross functionally with Partnerships, Special Events and Hospitality teams to identify opportunities of events to host VIP clients  
• Manage the special events and promotions calendar to drive customer acquisition and retention of existing customers 
• Source new opportunities and events in markets where we are live for sports betting 
• Develop a strategy to drive incremental business with a focus on inactive customers 
• Responsible for cumulative team bonus spend budget 
• Assist in critical business decisions regarding initial deposit offers 
• Evaluate customer activity to provide corresponding bonuses and complimentary offers (room, food, beverage, events tickets) 
• Work in conjunction with High Value team and VIP Sports Operations team 
• Maintain highly confidential customer information in accordance with company policies 
• Handle difficult customer interactions and situations in a calm, professional and reasonable manner 
• Proactively identify service failures by taking immediate action to resolve whilst notifying relevant stakeholders 
• Resolve customer disputes and complaints to the satisfaction of the customer and the company 
• Fully comply with and uphold company expectations including policies, procedures, department goals and business strategy 
• Conduct oneself with integrity and honesty 

 

Essential Functions 

• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends 
• Ability to travel for work  

 

Qualifications   

• Ability to gain and maintain a gaming license through the proper jurisdictions as a condition of hire and continued employment
• Experience in sales and customer service within a teamwork environment 
• Detail oriented with effective time management skills and the ability to produce results while working under pressure 
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills 
• Knowledge of the gaming industry 
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry  

 

Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship. At this time, this role is not eligible for immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship including H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, OPT, etc.

 

Compensation

The pay range for this position is as follows:

101,900.00--133,300.00

 

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

  

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements 

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations.  Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies.  Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment.  Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support BetMGM's responsible gambling policies, procedures, and initiatives.
