Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager (Monterrey & Northeast Mexico Territory) is a significant driver of company revenue and growth in one of Latin America's fastest-growing enterprise and industrial hubs. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, you’re responsible for leading and driving sales engagements across Nuevo León and surrounding regional markets. You’re motivated by the desire to solve critical security challenges facing our customers—from manufacturing and finance to enterprise tech—connecting them with solutions for every stage of threat prevention.

You’ll be responsible for meeting and exceeding your quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform. This is a unique opportunity for a closer with a go-getter mentality to win business and expand our regional market share by actively displacing competing technologies.

To ensure our sales team is equipped to guide customers, we've developed FLIGHT, an immersive onboarding program. FLIGHT blends virtual and in-person learning, ensuring new sales hires participate in dynamic cohorts fully dedicated to their training. This focused approach ensures you emerge as a well-prepared sales professional ready to help regional enterprises leverage our comprehensive portfolio.

Your Impact

  • Drive Regional Growth: Drive and orchestrate complex enterprise sales cycles while collaborating with local and regional internal partners to best serve the customer.

  • Build Executive Relationships: Leverage your consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers, C-level executives, and CISOs across Monterrey’s business ecosystem.

  • Strategic Territory Planning: Create and implement account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments in key regional verticals (e.g., manufacturing, automotive, financial services, and retail).

  • Competitive Positioning: Understand the regional competitive landscape and evolving customer security needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks.

  • Pipeline Generation: Execute a programmatic approach to demand generation to build, develop, and expand your territory in Northeast Mexico.

  • Value-Driven Selling: Leverage customer success stories to build compelling, account-specific value propositions.

  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on regional industry news, cybersecurity regulations, and emerging trends impacting the Mexican market.

  • Territory Engagement: Travel as necessary within the Monterrey metro area and Northeast Mexico territory, as well as for company-wide meetings.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Cybersecurity & SaaS Expertise: Deep knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking, cloud, and/or cybersecurity context.

  • Channel Ecosystem: Proven experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with local and regional Channel Partners, System Integrators, and Distributors to execute a strong channel-centric go-to-market strategy in Mexico.

  • Full Sales Cycle Mastery: Demonstrated capability in leading all aspects of the sales cycle—uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new white-space accounts and expansion opportunities.

  • Local Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the enterprise business landscape in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and the broader Northeast Mexico region.

  • Proven Track Record: Consistent history of exceeding sales quotas while selling complex, enterprise-grade technology solutions.

  • Autonomy & Adaptability: Excellent time management skills with the ability to operate with high levels of autonomy, self-direction, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

  • Language Skills: Fully bilingual in Spanish and English with excellent written and verbal business communication skills in both languages.
