Key Recruitment Responsibilities

General Recruitment Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to onboard Host Families (HFs) and Local Coordinators (LCs) in alignment with regional needs and program goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Coordinators to support student placement efforts and identify new recruitment opportunities.

  • Monitor and analyze recruitment performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.

Networking Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, local organizations, and community leaders.

  • Actively engage in local events, fairs, and networking opportunities to promote the program.

  • Build and expand a robust network of partners to support program recruitment and outreach efforts.

  • Leverage existing contacts and cultivate new connections to identify potential host families and local coordinators.

  • Collaborate with team members and external partners to share best practices and grow the program's reach.

Community Relations:

  • Serve as a program ambassador within the community, fostering trust and enthusiasm for cultural exchange initiatives.

  • Organize and participate in community-based events to raise awareness about the program and its benefits.

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage community members in supporting student placement and recruitment efforts.

  • Act as a liaison between the organization and community groups to align program goals with local needs.

  • Promote a culture of inclusion, diversity, and cross-cultural understanding within the community.

Resourcefulness:

  • Identify and utilize creative solutions to overcome challenges in recruitment and program promotion.

  • Effectively manage resources while achieving placement and recruitment goals.

  • Research and implement innovative outreach methods to expand the program's visibility and impact.

  • Adapt quickly to changing circumstances and leverage available tools to address program needs.

  • Strategically address gaps in community engagement to foster stronger relationships and drive results.

Operations Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end placement process for students, ensuring all operational requirements are met, including compliance with program regulations and host family vetting processes.

  • Provide guidance and support to Local Coordinators in resolving placement challenges, addressing concerns, and maintaining program standards.

  • Manage the matching process between students and HFs to create successful placements that meet cultural and logistical needs.

  • Regularly review operational workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and program outcomes.

  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive regional reporting, maintaining up-to-date records and data.

  • Complete tasks and assignments within established deadlines, consistently meeting organizational standards.

  • Monitor and track regional performance metrics, providing timely updates and actionable insights to leadership.

  • Maintain and oversee regional data trackers to ensure efficient organization and management of the region.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Serve as a mentor and resource for Local Coordinators and staff, offering training and professional development opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the National Placement team to align regional goals with organizational priorities.

  • Represent the organization at conferences, regional meetings, and community events to build awareness of programs and foster partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, program operations, or a related role within the student exchange or study abroad industry.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including host families, Local Coordinators, and international agents.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of cultural exchange programs and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in [relevant tools or software, e.g., CRM systems].

  • Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
