Job Summary
Plume is hiring a Regional Lead to build and own our presence across Latin America. You will be the face of Plume in the region — driving partnerships with local exchanges, asset managers, fintechs, and regulators, while building a community of developers and users onchain. This is a founder-style role: you'll set the regional strategy and be accountable for adoption, partnerships, and brand presence across LATAM.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Plume's go-to-market strategy across key LATAM markets (e.g., Brazil, Mexico, Argentina), prioritized by regulatory readiness and market opportunity.
- Source and close partnerships with regional exchanges, fiat on/off-ramps, asset managers, and fintechs interested in tokenized RWAs.
- Build relationships with local regulators, industry associations, and policy stakeholders to support Plume's compliant expansion in the region.
- Represent Plume at regional conferences, community events, and media opportunities; act as primary regional spokesperson.
- Coordinate with Global BD, Legal, and Marketing to localize product positioning, partnership terms, and campaigns for LATAM audiences.
- Build and nurture a regional developer and user community; identify and support local ecosystem projects building on Plume.
- Report on regional KPIs (partnerships signed, TVL sourced, community growth) to global leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of business development, partnerships, or regional GTM experience, with deep existing networks in LATAM crypto/fintech.
- Fluent Spanish and/or Portuguese and English; comfortable operating across multiple LATAM markets and regulatory regimes.
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and the regional crypto/fintech competitive landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and build a region from scratch with limited local infrastructure.
- Excellent public speaking and relationship-building skills across regulators, partners, and community.
Preferred Experience
- Existing relationships with LATAM exchanges, fintechs, or asset managers relevant to RWA tokenization.
- Prior experience at a crypto protocol, exchange, or Web3 company leading regional expansion.
- Familiarity with local securities/fintech regulatory frameworks (e.g., CVM in Brazil, CNBV in Mexico).
