About the Role: Regional Director of Donor Relations (East)

• Office: HQ, Remote, or Hybrid (PREFER APPLICANTS IN FLORIDA AND GEORGIA)
• Department: Major Donors and Foundations
• Reports To: Vice President of Ministry Partnerships

The Regional Director of Ministry Partnerships is Responsible for: 

Faith

• Is a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by keeping Christ central in their individual and corporate lives and exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit.
• Possesses a strong commitment and dedication to evangelism, the pro-life position, and the sanctity of the family.
• Agrees with and upholds Care Net’s Statement of Faith, Core Values, Mission and Vision, and Code of Conduct.
• Has the ability to work with a diversity of cultures and Christian denominations, backgrounds, and traditions.

Fundraising

• At least 3 years of experience in major gifts fundraising is strongly preferred with proven success in directly asking for and closing major gifts of $10,000 or more and building and maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents such as individual donors and foundations.
• Candidates with a strong sales background will also be considered.
• Successful experience in all aspects of the gift or sales cycle: (1) initiating contact with potential and current donors; (2) developing appropriate cultivation strategies; (3) moving potential and current donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure; (4) making solicitations; and (5) stewarding relationships with donors.
• Ability to initiate, analyze, monitor, evaluate, and alter strategic advancement plans and articulate the case for support so that individual donors understand and make an investment in the vision, mission, and strategic initiatives of Care Net.
• Knowledge of current trends in charitable giving.

Other

• Proven ability to be highly effective while working remotely…and enjoys working remotely.
• Has the ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including to donor meetings, Care Net’s National Conference, and other events as they arise.
• Understanding of – and ability to work with – Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and use other existing technology to achieve desired results. Experience with a CRM preferred.
• Computer literate with particular expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google applications, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google sheets.
• Bachelor’s degree and five or more years’ work experience preferred.
