The Regional Account Manager will develop and enhance customer relationships while promoting and selling Nothum equipment, spare parts, and services within the assigned territory. They will also collaborate with internal departments such as R&D, Service, and Engineering to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
New Equipment Sales:
Develop and enhance customer relationships with multiple levels at customer locations to include but not limited to Complex Managers, Plant Management, Maintenance Managers, Engineers at all active customers, potential customers, and prospects.
Become an expert in active customer base in regard to current Nothum equipment, production, and maintenance practices
Promote and sell all Nothum equipment offerings within the territory
New full lines
Replacement equipment
Spare parts and services with equipment orders
Establish and manage plan to ensure sufficient customer communication with customers of all categories and levels including a consistent travel plan to maximize in person communication
Work with Director of Sales to create corporate level plans, growth plans, and territory development
Utilize and maintain all applicable information, including a healthy pipeline of opportunities, in CRM
Identify opportunities for customer demonstrations (both on site and at Nothum)
Identify opportunities for growth with existing Notum equipment portfolio, or new products within our arena
Additional Sales/Customer Support Responsibilities:
Promote Nothum equipment, aftermarket programs, consumable parts, and Nothum services to all existing customers
Work closely with R&D and Service department on customer demonstrations
Work closely with production, engineering, logistics on all projects sold to ensure customer satisfaction
Work closely with Service department to facilitate items sold and other potential service opportunities
Other tasks as deemed necessary by management or ownership personnel at Nothum
Job Requirements:
5-10 years of applicable experience in Capital Equipment Sales
Basic understanding of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google equivalents
Experience working with a CRM
Travel as needed to ensure the success of sales efforts. Approximate travel estimation is 75-80%%
Possess excellent communication skills
Ability to work in team atmosphere (both as leader and participant)
