Employment Type: Full Time

Department: HR

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The Recruiter will play an important role in Cardiff’s continued growth by proactively identifying candidates who can make a meaningful impact on the business. By creating strong talent pipelines and consistently delivering qualified candidates to hiring managers, this position will help Cardiff reach high-performing professionals who may not be actively applying and improve the speed and quality of our hiring efforts.

POSITION SUMMARY

Cardiff is seeking a proactive, results-driven Recruiter to identify, engage, and interview high-quality candidates across multiple departments. This is not a full-cycle recruiting position. The role is focused specifically on outbound candidate sourcing, initial screening, interviewing, and building strong talent pipelines. Once qualified candidates are identified, they will be handed off to the appropriate hiring manager and People Team partners for the remaining stages of the hiring process.

The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume recruiting, advanced search techniques, and direct candidate outreach. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple searches simultaneously, and evaluating candidates for both experience and organizational fit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively source qualified candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Develop and execute search strategies for a variety of roles and departments.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach to prospective candidates.
  • Complete initial phone and video interviews to evaluate candidates’ experience, skills, communication, motivation, and alignment with position requirements.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and the People Team with clear, concise interview notes and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, interview feedback, and activity updates within the applicant tracking system.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the Head of People to understand position requirements, candidate profiles, and sourcing priorities.
  • Provide market feedback regarding candidate availability, compensation expectations, and recruiting challenges.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two or more years of experience in recruiting, talent sourcing, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and interviewing candidates in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and other sourcing tools.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple departments or position types.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate-assessment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to conduct persuasive outbound outreach and engage passive candidates.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple open searches and candidate pipelines.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, results-oriented environment.
  • Experience recruiting revenue-generating, sales, financial services, or fintech professionals is preferred.

  • You are highly organized and naturally proactive
  • You thrive in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
  • You enjoy solving operational problems and improving systems
  • You communicate clearly and follow through consistently
  • You balance strategic thinking with a willingness to execute

THIS ROLE MAY NOT BE A FIT IF YOU:

  • Prefer highly structured corporate environments
  • Need extensive direction or oversight
  • Dislike fast-changing priorities
  • Prefer maintaining systems over building and improving them

BENEFITS & PERKS

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) plan
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) and observed holidays
  • Remote-first with support for your home office setup.
