Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) - Pain Medicine Physician - Part Time

Overview

MDpanel is looking for board-certified physicians who want to supplement their current practice by performing QME evaluations within California Workers’ Compensation. You bring the clinical expertise and judgment — we handle everything else.

You will conduct in-person and remote medical-legal evaluations for Workers’ Compensation cases. MDpanel handles your scheduling, case coordination, DWC compliance, billing, collections, transcription, and record management.

Evaluations are in-office at one of our 350+ exam sites — the largest network of med-legal evaluation locations in California.

• Case Coordination — Scheduling, logistics, and management of cases
• Compliance — DWC regulatory adherence, record review, transcription, delivery of your final report
• Billing & Collections — Full revenue cycle management for maximum, timely reimbursement
• Practice Operations — Strategic guidance and operational optimization of your QME practice

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible
• Active, unrestricted California medical license
• QME certification (or willingness to obtain — we invest in getting you there)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in clinical documentation
