About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Protection Adviser who is looking to develop a career in Estate Planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a successful protection professional who wants to expand their expertise into wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, and inheritance planning.
The successful candidate will work with warm, qualified leads provided by the business, helping clients protect their financial future through tailored protection solutions while receiving full training and support to become an Estate Planning specialist. No previous estate planning experience is required; comprehensive training, ongoing mentoring, and professional development will be provided.
This role offers the opportunity to broaden your skillset, increase earning potential, and build long-term client relationships by delivering a wider range of valuable financial protection and estate planning services.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct client consultations to identify estate planning needs and objectives.
Advise clients on wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, and inheritance planning solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducers, and professional partners.
Gather and assess client information to ensure suitable recommendations are made.
Prepare and oversee estate planning documentation accurately and efficiently.
Work closely with solicitors, financial advisers, mortgage advisers, and protection specialists where appropriate.
Ensure all client records are maintained in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Keep up to date with estate planning legislation, tax considerations, and industry developments.
Contribute to business growth through referrals, networking, and client retention initiatives.
Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience as a Protection Adviser.
Strong understanding of client fact-finding and needs-based advice processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to explain complex topics in a clear and straightforward manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working towards targets and delivering excellent client outcomes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
A genuine interest in estate planning, inheritance planning, and wealth protection.
